Salary: Up to £35,000 depending on experience, plus a car allowance
The job role
As a People Advisor you will contribute to our vision of being UK’s leading property manager by:
- Providing an exceptional HR/ER service to our teams, coaching and supporting line managers to develop high performing teams and deliver a high-quality customer experience to internal and external customers
- Ensuring that our employees have a great experience which is engaging, well managed and frustration-free
This role reports to the Head of People Partnering and has no direct reports.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver a high standard of employee relations support and case management to teams, including coaching and guidance with disciplinary, grievance, performance management, re-structures, absence, occupational health, exit interviews, TUPE, and providing legislative updates
- Supporting the Head of People Partnering on various projects as appropriate
- As required, work with the People Partnering team to support to line managers on a variety of areas including, employee on-boarding, ongoing personal development, talent, and succession planning, change and improvement programmes across the business, employee engagement.
Through coaching and training, ensure your client group understand HR policies & procedures and our employee proposition - Identify and suggest opportunities to drive the impact, value and credibility of the People function, continually striving to improve.
- Ensure strong focus and understanding of people metrics, both in respect of reporting and insight
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrable experience of managing complex employee relations cases and coaching line managers
- Demonstrable experience of TUPE legislation (in/out) consultation and due diligence
- Confident, articulate communicator – both orally and in writing; able to build relationships with all employees, from site based colleagues to senior management
- Excellent organisational skills; able to manage numerous responsibilities at once
- A strong attention to detail and focus on data accuracy
- Experience of HRIS Systems - iTrent would be advantageous
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word
