DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Support foster parents and their families to achieve outstanding outcomes for all children and young people in foster care.

• Provide and record regular supervision to allocated foster parents in line with FCA's Operational Standards.
• Work in partnership in a team parenting approach to help identify any needs within the foster family e.g. respite, activities, therapy, holidays, with all members of the child's network, including contributing to all relevant meetings and any other tasks defined.
• Ensure each child and foster parent are fully compliant in respect of all key documentation.
• Attend meetings and/or provide reports for Commissioning Teams to address individual packages of care.
• Promote participation of children/young people in the development of the agency and in accessing resources and opportunities in their local community.
• Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis
• Undertake occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• A Social Work qualification
• Professional registration with Social Work England or equivalent
• Proven ability to produce a high standard of report writing
• A comprehensive working knowledge of relevant legislation and child safeguarding procedures
• The willingness and ability to travel extensively (including occasional nights away)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a Referrals Officer, you will manage referrals received from Local Authorities and use key information and matching criteria to ensure that placements are carefully matched according to children's needs. You will have the ability to work independently and able to use your initiative to find creative solutions to foster placement requests.

The Referrals officer role is the first point of contact between Local Authorities, foster families and Social Workers. You will be able develop positive relationships with colleagues and be confident communicating with professionals at all levels. It would be beneficial to have experience of working within the children's services sector or similar and be able to evidence your administration skills, ability to follow regulatory policies and processes and the ability to work well within a fast paced team. Full training will be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

• Change Request Management
  • Receive and process internal change requests such as updates to customer information in the internal system.
  • Check and validate requests before processing to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Update the requestor once the change request has been processed.
• Referral Program Tracking and Preparation
  • Track and manage the referral program, including validation of referrals.
  • Request payment vouchers and inform referrers about the collection process.
  • Maintain accurate records of all referral activities and communications.
• Customer Communication
  • Engage with external customers regarding the collection of vouchers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or issues related to the referral program.
• Ad-hoc Support
  • Assist with other tasks and projects as needed to support the sales operations team and business units.

Requirements:

• 2 years of proven experience in administrative roles with a focus on admin/operations is highly desirable.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel, and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements is a plus.

Working Hours:

Key Responsibilities:

Handle Enquiries and Feedback:

- Monitor and respond to customer enquiries and feedback on our online platforms, including social media, Google reviews, email, and other communication channels.

- Ensure timely and professional responses to maintain positive customer relations.

- Coordinate with internal teams to escalate and resolve issues when necessary.

Support Event Management:

- Assist the Event Team with RSVP management, including maintaining guest lists, confirming attendance, and managing last-minute changes.

- Provide administrative support for event-related tasks such as sending invites, merchandise procurement, reaching out to sponsors and preparing event materials.

Administrative Tasks:

- Assist in the preparation of marketing reports and presentations.

- Coordinate with internal teams for scheduling, document handling, and general administrative duties as required.

- Maintain and organize digital records of customer communications and event data.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for direct sales to professionals and corporate customers.
• Identify, build and manage sales pipeline and business relationships.
• Drive the entire sales cycle – from leads generation, initial customer engagement, qualifying, consultation to closure.
• Participate in prospecting activities to build a strong pipeline for the company.
• Consult with prospects and pursue sales opportunities to close the deals effectively.
• Engage professionals to advance opportunities by sharing on the benefits of our curriculum and understanding their learning aspirations.
• Engage corporate customers to advance opportunities by carrying out activities such as using relevant marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics to understand clients’ digital marketing performance and propose training solutions for business digital marketing transformation.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in sales or client engagement.
• Hunter mentality and a “no fear” approach to prospecting clients.
• Passion in promoting lifelong learning and employability.
• Ability to communicate efficiently and possess strong presentation skills.
• A strong work ethic, positive attitude and genuine desire to learn.
• Highly disciplined and good time management.
• Able to converse in Mandarin in order to liaise and communicate effectively with Mandarin speaking clients

• Attend meetings and/or provide reports for Commissioning Teams to address individual packages of care.
• Promote participation of children/young people in the development of the agency and in accessing resources and opportunities in their local community.
• Participate in an 'out of hours' support service on a rota basis
• Undertake occasional initial home visits and Form F Assessments.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• A Social Work qualification

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As a REFERRALS OFFICER, you will manage referrals received from Local Authorities and use key information and matching criteria to ensure that families are carefully matched according to children's needs. You will have the ability to work independently and able to use your initiative to find creative solutions to foster placement requests.

The REFERRALS OFFICER role is the first point of contact between Local Authorities, foster families and Social Workers. You will be able develop positive relationships with colleagues and be confident communicating with professionals at all levels. It would be beneficial to have experience of working within the children's services sector or similar and be able to evidence your administration skills, ability to follow regulatory policies and processes and the ability to work well within a fast paced team. Full training will be provided.
