Join Euroapi UK to lead procurement for the UK. You will be responsible for the end to end procurement activity at site, contribute towards our global commitments of improving our environmental footprint, driving efficiency, cost reduction and achieving procurement excellence.
You will:
Report into the Site Head GM for Haverhill with a dotted line into the Chief Procurement Officer for Euroapi globally, leading on performance improvements that have a direct impact on profitability, competitiveness and sustainability of the company.
Collaborate and guide business areas to enable an effective purchasing process for raw materials, equiptment & services, from sourcing stage to supplier management.
Respond to project and customer requirements, managing risk and identifying solutions.
Take accountability for operational sourcing and procurement activity at site across direct and indirect categories using best practice to deliver savings, track and increase supplier performance.

The EUROAPI Haverhill (UK) site has been established for forty years, located fifteen miles east of Cambridge and sixty miles north of London, within the golden triangle. It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Flow Chemistry, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) Spray Drying and as a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO). Haverhill is proud to house the world’s largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and rare disease medicines supporting global markets. The site also offers a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.
Our Requirements
CIPS Qualified
Broad direct and indirect purchasing experience with expertise in tendering and contract negotiation experience in the UK. A raw material bias or knowledge of the pharmaceutical, chemicals or engineering sectors would be an advantage.
Proven experience driving cost reduction and performance improvement of suppliers.
Excellent communication & relationship building skills. This role will have no direct reports but you will be expected to influence the network and site to work in collaboration to find solutions and improve processes.

Your contractual base will be Haverhill, UK but there will be flexibility for some working from home as required.
