Product Manager

We are looking for…
Hopefully, you! We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Product Manager to join our Product team in Waterloo, NSW. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all product (Walling, Flooring, Furniture and Homewares) across all platforms. This role is a key contributor to all stages of the product lifecycle, including new product development. This role is focused on the continual improvement of the product development workflow, collaborating closely with all departments across the business.
The Product Manager has a high degree of product knowledge and is a go to person in the organisation.

Product development
- Work closely with CEO, Stone Buyer and Head of Furniture & Homewares to develop and execute product strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives.
- Responsible for product mapping (discovery through to end of life).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams – including Purchasing, Accounts, Marketing, Digital, Warehousing, and Sales, as well as internal stakeholders – to ensure successful launch and ongoing improvement of products.
- Understand product technical details and/or code requirements related to new product categories.
- Run bi-monthly product beta meetings to increase cross functional team knowledge of products’ in their early stages.

Product Management
- Maintain and generate product records in our business management platform (NetSuite).
- Manage company-wide retail pricing. Requires in depth knowledge and management of all product pricing inputs – vendor costs, freight costs, tariffs (landed costs).
- Ensure product specifications on all digital properties are accurate and up to date (e.g. Architectural Resources).
- Provide product information to internal learning platform to increase product knowledge across the company.
- Stay up to date on national and regional government laws and regulations, relevant to the building materials and supply industry (including the growing sustainability sector).
- Be well informed on product technical requirements, order product technical testing, and analyse and publish the results for the wider business and customers.


We need you to bring…
- 3-6 years experience in product management role
- Experience in working with building materials would be advantageous
- Attention to detail that is second to none
- An ability to autonomously plan and prioritise workload to deliver on both individual and team objectives effectively and consistently.

We are seeking an experienced hands-on Business Development Manager to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining strong and trusting business relationships in the territories covering the Central Coast, Newcastle and up to Coffs Harbour. We already have established relationships in these areas and are looking to have a professional give these clients more focus as well as building new relationships.

The successful candidate would ideally live in or around Newcastle or the Central Coast, as this is where the majority of the clients are located and therefore where the majority of your time would be spent. There would be a requirement for regular visits to our flagship showroom and head office which is located in Sydney. Particularly so during your on-barding.

About the role

Working as the Manager of the Warehouse & Fulfilment team at our Brisbane Warehouse based in Banyo, you’ll have an intimate knowledge and interest in all facets of the warehouse including operations, personnel and stock movements.

Warehouse Storeperson – SA – Albert Park

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced hands-on warehouse storeperson for our South Australia Warehouse. This role will be working independently in a shared warehouse space reporting to our VIC & SA warehouse and logistics manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the successful receipt, organisation, tracking, picking, packing and delivery of our products, ensuring the premium experience of our customers and the safety of our staff and our stock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing orders for delivery (including using heavy machinery ie forklifts), including packaging and labelling correctly
• Receiving stock, including sorting and organising deliveries for smart storage for easy future dispatch and prevention of damage
• Managing the flow of stock through our WMS and ERP system Netsuite to ensure records are always accurate and up to date
• Operate at all times to Occupational Health and Safety guidelines, including ensuring workspace is free of debris, removing safety hazards from aisles and wearing appropriate safety gear
• Organising walling and flooring samples, ensuring stock levels are adequate, tracking sample orders and packing for dispatch

Description

Work as a leader and manager at our new Warehousing location in Seaford. This is a varied hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse floor. The role is focussed on the successful receipt, organisation, tracking, picking, packing and delivery of our product, ensuring the premium experience of our customer and the safety of our staff and stock. You’ll be based out of Seaford, Melbourne, reporting into the VIC & SA Warehousing & Logistics Manager, working closely with sales teams and the national customer service teams, your role centres on:

• Managing, coaching and mentoring a team of 4, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
• Organising the day-to-day floor activities of the warehouse including optimising the space available
• Managing the flow of stock through our ERP and WMS systems to ensure records are always accurate and up to date.
• Instilling best practice operations, health and safety and efficient organisation, packaging and labelling of stock.
• Be a champion for fantastic customer service, be that internally for other teams or externally for customers.

Skills & experience

• Established manager with excellent communication skills and a calm manner.
• Minimum 5 years working in a warehousing environment.
• Highly organised, logical mindset with the ability to proactively prioritise your own and your team’s workload.

The Floor Manager will be instrumental in liaise with customers and contractors who are picking up deliveries as well as working with the Eco Outdoor Sales, Fulfilment, Warehousing and Imports teams as required.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, outgoing, have a can-do attitude and be willing to participate as an active member of a small team. You should be comfortable speaking with colleagues and customers on the phone or in person, be physically able, numerate and have an aptitude to use an inventory system.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing orders for delivery (including using heavy machinery ie forklifts), including packaging and labelling correctly
• Receiving stock, including sorting and organising deliveries for smart storage for easy future dispatch and prevention of damage
• Managing the flow of stock through our WMS and ERP system Netsuite to ensure records are always accurate and up to date
• Operate at all times to Occupational Health and Safety guidelines, including ensuring workspace is free of debris, removing safety hazards from aisles and wearing appropriate safety gear
• Organising walling and flooring samples, ensuring stock levels are adequate, tracking sample orders and packing for dispatch

About the role

Working as the Manager of the Warehouse & Fulfilment team at our Brisbane Warehouse based in Banyo, you’ll have an intimate knowledge and interest in all facets of the warehouse including operations, personnel and stock movements.

The ideal candidate will be very organised and detail oriented, comfortable leading a small team and will have a customer service attitude. This position will be responsible for the day to day operations of the warehouse, including the successful receipt, organisation, picking, packing and delivery of our product, ensuring a premium experience for our customers.

Reporting to the Finance and Operations Manager and working closely with our sales team,

Your role centers on:

• Managing the daily operations of the warehouse and a small warehouse team,
• Overseeing the daily picking process to ensure orders are picked and shipped accurately, high attention to detail a must,
• Managing stock receipt from overseas (containers) and domestic suppliers, ensuring all incoming stock is accurately counted and receipted,
• Managing the local and domestic freighting of product to customers, ranging from high end retail customers to trade clients (builders, tilers and landscapers),
• Managing the flow of inventory through our ERP system with regular and accurate stock takes,
• Attending to clients and delivery drivers upon arrival to the warehouse,
• Lead the Warehouse WHS procedures,
• Initiate and recommend continuous improvement initiatives,
• Ability to work in a small team,
• Hands on role requiring a can-do attitude.
