Lead / Senior Technician position available

Denmor Automotive is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team as a lead / senior technician. You will be responsible for overseeing technical repairs, mentoring junior apprentices & workshop / management / client liaison. In return we are offering extremely competitive, above award rates with your package tailored to your position & experience.

For the right candidate, there is ample pathway within the business to ultimately end up off the tools in a managers role.

Skills & Requirements
Be a qualified Motor Mechanic (Cert 3 Light Vehicle)
Be an authorised AIS examiner (or be willing to obtain asap)
Have your own tools / tool storage etc.
Be enthusiastic about growing within the industry & within our business
Be able to work effectively individually & with other members of the team
Have a valid (unsuspended) Australian driver’s licence
Have great communication skills
If you have Auto Electrical & Air Conditioning experience that would be ideal, but If not, we can train and develop you new skills and opportunities whilst working with us.

We are very keen to provide an apprenticeship opportunity for a young enthusiastic student who is keen to pursue an automotive career.
Our business is ideally situated to take advantage of the growing local community. We are looking to continue to grow and expand our services but to do that we need to continue to develop and train automotive technicians.
We are ideally positioned to be able to offer a full suite of experience to an up and coming apprentice. This is because Russell is uniquely qualified as both a Motor Mechanic and an Auto Electrician. In addition he is licensed by the Australian Refrigeration Council to do air conditioning repair and service work. This means that our business can do almost any service and repair work on any make and model of motor vehicle.
Denmor Automotive is an excellent place to train because we do mechanical, auto-electrical and air conditioning work on most makes and models and cars. Therefore an apprenticeship with us will enable you to learn and work on a very wide range of skills rather than only working on the same make of car at a more specialised workshop.
We have a young dedicated team in a diverse & busy workshop offering an exceptional working environment and ongoing training, development and career opportunities.

We are offering the right candidate an exceptional opportunity to gain experience in the automotive industry leading to the offer of a Light Vehicle Automotive Apprenticeship.
We expect a potential candidate to have
- A passion to learn and develop your skills
- A valid Australian driver’s license (or very close to having)
- The ability to follow direction
