What you will do:
- Ensure smooth running of payroll cycles, overall HR and daily administration
- Responsible for creation, deployment and review of the recruitment strategy
- Work with the management on recruitment and talent management
- Advise employees on HR and other admin matters (leaves, recruitment, payroll, retention, insurance etc)
Payroll
- Process monthly payroll
- Verify reports submitted by restaurant managers including number of hours to pay, overtime payment, shift payment, commission and deductions
- Process and submit monthly CPF, SDL and FWL payments
- Process employee IR8A statement annually
Talent Management
- Managing performance at various points of an employee such as regular reviews and confirmations
- Spearhead and administer the annual appraisal exercise
- Manage leave balances and other benefits
- Review and manage employee’s incentive structure and welfare
- Create and administer the internship and apprenticeship programs with all relevant educational institutes and government bodies
- Create and deploy training programmes including WSQ courses among others
HR Administration
- Perform general administrative duties and manage onboarding/offboarding processes such as lockers, uniforms, name tags, and name cards
- Ensure maintenance of updated information of employees in P-files
- Apply, renew and cancel work passes for foreign applicants
- Source, screen and interview candidates through every available channel
- Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
- Manage employees disciplinary, grievances, termination and resignation procedures
- Other admin tasks as assigned
Corporate Initiatives
- Plan and organise employee engagement events & activities
- Launch initiatives to improve employer branding
The Person:
- Passionate about F&B and making a difference
- Preferably has HR experience in the F&B industry
- Proactive and meticulous
- Excellent planning and analytical skills
- Effective time management & prioritization skills
- Resourceful, adaptive, efficient and able to work independently
- Familiarity with software such as StaffAny and Talenox is an added advantage
