- Reviews and analyzes monthly production reports and cycle update results to ensure systems continuity.
- Initiates comprehensive corrective action and/or improvement direction to maintain military pay and accounting data integrity
- Performs analysis of and studies regarding military pay financial status reports.
- Researches problems, defines the cause and effect and recommends a variety of resolution approaches for solutions.
- Participates in meetings to resolve system and operational problems, secure information on new requirements and provide technical information regarding system content.
- Provides professional and technical advice to fellow staff, operating managers, the Director for Military Pay and Field Offices.
- Provides specific subject matter assistance to field personnel when inquiries address MMPA/DJMS problems and concerns.
- Reviews systems change proposals and determines applicability and recommends the best course of action based on compliance with regulations, soundness, feasibility and impact.
- Prepares detailed reports of these findings and discusses them with the appropriate functional expert.
