We are currently hiring a Senior Residential Sales Consultant!
This is based in Singapore!
Position Statement
The Senior Residential Consultant is responsible for the servicing and conversion of sales leads and opportunities generated by Crown’s marketing efforts.
The Senior Residential Consultant needs to follow the prescribed Crown sales methodologies and protocols in accordance with the strategies, priorities, and sales targets of the Crown Group.
This role also works closely with other internal stakeholders and ensures all sales opportunities are leveraged to maximum effect in a team selling environment.
Maintaining a high-performance customer driven culture is also crucial to the success of this position.
The Senior Residential Sales Consultant may provide assistance in the drafting of sales bids/ proposals/ presentations, reporting on market and industry trends and help implement new or amended sales strategies. They will be responsible for their own workload, assessing and adjusting their efforts as required, and also to help the team meet the goals set. They may also assist the Head of Sales in providing guidance to junior team members and take extra team lead responsibilities.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Administration
- Meet and maintain weekly/monthly sales conversion targets in accordance with Crown’s KPIs
- Attend, report to and participate in sales meetings, report on competitor trends and help develop local sales strategies that meet the challenges of the market
- Ensure that administrative systems are up to date and accurate at all times and data input protocols are observed and adhered to
- Maintain accurate handovers of customers files to client service and operations teams.
- Ensure all costs are clearly detailed to customers.
- Ensure all clients receive superior attention and service.
- After the in-home surveys, prepare detailed report, calculate the measurement and depending upon destination, cost the job or send a cost sheet to the appropriate internal parties
- Prepare and present formal quotations to clients, using selling techniques and structured approaches to enable successful negotiation with the customer.
Customer Service
- Visit customers in their homes to meet the pre-arranged appointment times
- Upon receipt of a confirmed survey appointment, prior to the physical appointment, being prepared to include destination office information and sales aids such as destination guides, etc.
- Complete a detailed inventory of effects to be transported which allows the accurate calculation of the cubic capacity of the goods – digitally via special tools used by Crown.
- Present the company’s services by discussion, demonstrations and the use of the presenter in the most positive light, selling the benefits of our service, our company, and the Crown network worldwide.
- Utilize value based selling skills and methodologies that clearly differentiate Crown from our competitors and generate best value for Crown at every possible juncture.
- Ensure each day is well planned to maximize all opportunity whilst satisfying the demands of our customers.
- Regular follow-up to ensure the booking of Residential Sales through negotiation and use of value add and upselling techniques.
Aptitude, Knowledge and Qualifications
Aptitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and display tact and discretion at all times
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in a potentially rapidly changing environment
- Ability to set priorities, manage your time and workload and dependably meet strict deadlines
- Ensure tasks are completed within timelines to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism
- Professional attitude and a willingness to support stakeholders in effectively doing their job
- Solution oriented approach to problem solving and decision making
Professional Knowledge and Skills
- 2-5 years of sales experience (same or similar industry experience preferred, e.g. International Moving, Hospitality, Insurance, Logistics)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders
- Well-developed administration and organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of selling psychology
- Cultural sensitivity and awareness
- Due to the nature of the role and travelling requirements, valid Singapore driving license is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
