Role: The Business Development Executive plays a key role in driving business growth and revenue generation. They are responsible for omni-channel sales and business development within the ice cream market. Successful candidates will be proactive and results-driven, with a passion for sales and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and high pressure SME environment.
Responsibilties:
- Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify and target new customer segments and opportunities within the market.
- Respond to warm leads and generate cold leads through proactive outreach, networking, and market research.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential customers, competitive landscape, and market trends.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics to bring on new customers and achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Ideate and contribute to the development of new business growth initiatives, exploring innovative ideas to expand our market reach.
- Generate marketing ideas and campaigns that support revenue generation and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development activities and alignment with company objectives.
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development or sales within the FMCG industry, preferably in the ice cream or snacks sector.
- Strong track record of generating new business, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and proactive outreach.
- Creative thinker with the ability to ideate and contribute to new business growth strategies.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with the ability to address customer needs and close deals.
- Familiarity with marketing principles and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas that support revenue generation.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and other sales and marketing tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
