RESPONSIBILITIES
As our Retail Manager, you are responsible for Retail Sales Excellence on all levels.
The Retail Manager is responsible for Retail Sales Excellence on all levels.
Manage & lead Team on development including promotional and merchandising activities related to a Duty-Free distribution channel and organization.
Gather & providing feedback on competitors and retailers sales and activities to the Key Account Manager & other departments within Travel Retail.
Your main focus :
RETAIL SALES/EXCELLENCE
· Collaborate closely with retailer on anything Retail related to help drive sell-out
· Monitor closely on the retail performance of newness and our core lines
· Planning and implementation of goals/ambitions including retail sales targets, action plans to drive sell-out
· Plan and implement suitable incentives to drive sell-outs in line with competition standards
· Identification of any likely risk/opportunities from itemized sales report and make necessary recommendations to Key Account Manager
· To drive improvement in store ranking/market share of Coty brands (KPI)
· Regularly update monthly sales reports via HUB/internal trackers in coordination with the Retail Sales Coordinator
· Identify potential space improvement at shopfloor or any opportunities to improve our retail sales performance
· Provide an in-depth monthly analysis of the market to Sales Manager & other Departments within Travel Retail
MERCHANDIZING EXCELLENCE
· Work with the Retail Sales coordinator to make sure merchandising excellence is met in all stores
· To work closely with DP on the fulfilment rate of non-sellables
· To nurture strong business partnership with the shopfloor team
· Partner closely with the marketing and merchandising team to put forward recommendations
· To readily share competitor’s insight & propose appropriate actions to maximize sales and brand visibility
· To conduct regular TRIP CHECKS for key market
BEAUTY ADVISOR & COORDINATOR MANAGEMENT
· Oversee Retail Sales Specialist on the leadership & development of the Beauty Advisor Teams
· Create positive and strong synergy within the team, ensure the best mindset, and lead them by example
· Communicate sales target to Beauty Advisors, sales achievement, and ensure that targets are being met monthly
· Conduct regular reviews with Retail Sales Specialist to monitor Beauty Advisor monthly sales performance and examine ways to improve their productivity
· To monitor and update the Beauty Advisor database, according to business needs
· Uniform management in coordination with the Field Trainer
· Roster supervision
FORECAST & INVENTORY CONTROL
· To keep track of retailers’ placement of orders and short shipment
· Work closely with KAM on product forecast
· Work closely with Omnichannel manager on GWP/POS forecasts
· Maintain adequate inventory levels in retailer’s doors sellable stock, testers, promotional items, advertising materials etc.
· Feedback on sell-out, trends to help project and plan accurate forecasts.
· Give on-going feedback to Demand planning team on performance, promotions & Market trends
PROMOTION EXECUTION
· Lead and ensure of all planned promotions & all elements are in place
· Preparation of COMA deck for MPM team for promotion execution
· Analyze and exploit all data on the activity level of the points of sale, on the feed-back of merchandising and promotional activities of Coty brands and competitors
· Provide weekly and monthly updates and follow-up on key information, promotion results, budgets, and costs to the Key Account Manager
· Manage budget and costs relating to retail
· Keeps abreast of and provides info on competitor activities, making recommendations to boost sales
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You like to make a difference. As an experienced Retail Manager, you will share your valuable experience with the team and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you should also have the following requirements:
· At least 5 years of working experience in the retail sector, with an enthusiasm for retail sales management
· Experience in the beauty industry is advantageous
· Industry knowledge & Travel Retail experience a plus, not essential
· Competent in excel & PowerPoint
· Good negotiation skills
You will have:
· Extensive knowledge of retailers and channels for beauty industry, focus on key account, and Travel Retail & ecommerce is a plus.
· Being able to work under fast pace and in matrix organization.
· Organized: Well organized, with a disciplined approach to evaluating priorities in a fast-changing environment.
· The ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team, and is confident in managing relationships at all levels.
· Strong in leadership and in people management.
· Operational efficient, strategically credible.
