Job responsibility

• Operate packaging system, plant equipment and processes as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply strictly to safety, quality and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Carry out analysis and application studies in the area of polyurethanes using laboratory equipment such as potentiometric titrations, gas chromatography, FTIR, Karl-Fischer, AAS, and universal testing machine.
• Carry out technological evaluation of finished products using technological equipment and able to reproduce the customers' application processes.
• Calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Ensure proper documentations of results, equipment and consumables.
• Ensure proper sample management according to SOPs.
• Carry out safety and housekeeping activities in the department.
• Any other duties as and when required to be done by superior.

Requirements

Job Decription

1. Evaluate Novacote R&D products for applications performance and develop applications of existing Novacote products.

2. Conduct application trials with customer materials and conduct Novacote product trials at customers’ place.

3. Analysis customer samples for application performance.

4. Assist in QC for application of off-specs batches of Novacote products. Assist in QC of raw materials, tolled Novacote products as and when required. Ensure proper storage of QC retention samples of tolled products.

5. Provide trainings on Novacote products applications to customers, distributors and new staff.

6. Trouble shoot and carry out minor maintenance work of Novacote application laboratory equipment.

7. Ensure that all consumables are sufficient for daily operation of application lab.

8. Update and file analysis reports and other documents.

9. Carry out safety and house keeping activities in the Novacote application lab.

Minimum Job Requirements/Competency

• Adhere to Company and departmental procedures, SHEQ rules and regulations, and GMP at all times.

Job Responsibilities

• Report to the Engineering / SHEQ Manager of Coim Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, for all project, operational and maintenance matters.
• Execute CAPEX or improvement projects, especially in the fields of project management including preparing scope of works, procurement, construction, installation, start-up and commissioning.
• Ensure proper communication, procedure and workflow to all project stake holders.
• Maintain and update engineering documentation including maintenance procedures & work records, inspection reports, AutoCAD drawings etc.
• Liaise and coordinate with external service providers to ensure the safety, quality and value of work performed within the site.
• Provide specialist support to Maintenance engineer in relation to plant & facility maintenance activities safely, efficiently and effectively such as:

- Establishing maintenance programs and strategies related to E&I equipment for process plant and utilities.

- Troubleshoot equipment problems to minimize equipment downtime.

- Provide practical and cost-effective solutions to all E&I related issues or problems.

- Inventory Spares

• Upkeep of ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 and SS 651:2019 standard requirements.
• Continually source for reliable and competitive equipment suppliers and project contractors.
• Monitor plant equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Network with counterpart in sister sites on equipment history/ troubleshooting techniques and proven best practices.
• Develop and implement Electrical Safety best practices and ensure 100% compliance to relevant regulations.
• Actively participate and contribute in safety studies such as HAZOP, EHA, Area Classification, facility siting etc. and implement recommendations arising out.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 to 10 years relevant working experiences in petrochemical, chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
• Possess good technical knowledge in Electrical and Instrumentation including PLCs.

Job Responsibilities

• Product costing and inventory management, responsible for inventory and COGS accounting (standard cost variance report, efficiency report etc).
• Analyse actual vs. standard manufacturing & material costs & variances for the plants
• Analyse monthly standard units cost for finished goods
• Reconciles inventory sub-ledgers to general ledger and manages inventory & obsolescence provision.
• Manage monthly and yearly inventory counts and preparation of stock count reconciliations.
• Assists users (warehouse/logistic/production) in resolving all inventory issues relating to Navision (e.g. production output entry error, customer goods return, etc.).
• Recording of all monthly inventory related adjustment (e.g. R&D use, samples, etc.)/write-off entries.
