1. Role Description:
As the Facilities Manager at Cherie Hearts @ Charlton Pte Ltd, the primary focus is maintaining the building and enhancing operational efficiency. Also, to optimize the sustainability of the facility by improving electricity consumption and water systems. Additionally, the facilities manager is dedicated to ensuring safety through childproofing measures, maintaining fire safety systems, and complying with all necessary safety regulations, creating a secure environment for children, staff, and visitors.
2. Specific Responsibilities:
· Understand regulatory requirements, operational practices, childcare safety and conducting a facility assessment.
· Explore sustainable practices and assess the cost-effectiveness of energy efficiency.
· Gain knowledge of childcare safety protocols, develop and implement effective evacuation plans as well as explore modern safety technology.
· Learn project management skills and oversee budget allocations for facility improvements.
· Develop and manage a facility maintenance budget and performing cost-benefit analyses.
· Create a long-term strategic plan and enhance leadership skills.
