Payroll Executive will be working in a BPO Consultancy and will be carrying out HR task for other companies (cabinet's Clients) as well as in-house.
Job Summary:
A Payroll Executive is responsible for managing the company’s payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, benefits, and deductions. They maintain payroll records, handle employee inquiries, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, they collaborate with HR and finance departments to streamline payroll operations and resolve any payroll-related issues.
Responsibilities:
1. Payroll Processing:
· Accurately process payroll on a timely basis.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
· Calculate wages, overtime, and deductions.
· Manage payroll adjustments and ensure all changes are processed correctly.
2. Employee Records:
· Maintain and update employee records including personal information, tax details, and banking information.
· Ensure confidentiality and security of employee data.
3. Compliance and Reporting:
· Prepare and file necessary payroll tax returns and other reporting requirements.
4. Benefits Administration:
· Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, WICA, FWMI, PL and other benefits.
· Coordinate with benefits providers and handle employee inquiries related to benefits.
5. Payroll Software:
· Utilize payroll software to manage payroll processes.
· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with the payroll system.
· Train and support other staff in the use of the payroll system.
· Onboard, train and support clients onto the HRMS/Payroll system
6. Financial Reporting:
· Prepare and analyse payroll reports for management.
· Assist in budget preparation and financial planning related to payroll.
7. Customer Service:
· Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, deductions, and other related issues.
· Provide guidance and support to employees on payroll-related matters.
8. Continuous Improvement:
· Stay updated with the latest payroll regulations and best practices.
· Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
Education & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
· 1 or 2 years of experience as a Payroll Executive or in a similar role.
· Experience with payroll software and systems.
· Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
· Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office.
· Good organizational and time management skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience across multiple industries will be highly advantageous
