Key Responsibilities:
Technical Operations Management
1.Lead the technical services department, ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced meat processing equipment.
2.Develop and enforce maintenance schedules, ensuring machinery adherence to strict operational standards.
3.Manage high-level technical issues, driving the resolution of complex mechanical and electronic problems.
Research & Development
1.Direct research and development initiatives aimed at improving machinery functionality and production efficiencies.
2.Conduct technical studies, evaluate new machinery or technological advancements, and recommend integration strategies.
3.Collaborate with product development teams to align technical capabilities with market trends and customer demands.
Systems and Application Oversight
1.Oversee the development, deployment, and optimization of system applications for automated meat processing machinery.
2.Drive system upgrades and ensure continuous improvement of application performance.
3.Work with IT and software teams to design, develop, and enhance applications aligned with production processes and business needs.
Technical Compliance and Quality Control
1.Ensure machinery and processes comply with local and international food safety standards, including HACCP, ISO, and FDA regulations.
2.Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) that meet quality control requirements, ensuring food safety and equipment performance.
3.Conduct audits and inspections to assess machinery performance and identify areas for improvement.
Stakeholder and Client Interaction
1.Serve as the senior technical point of contact for key clients and stakeholders, providing expert consultation on machinery-related issues.
2.Lead technical training for internal teams and external clients, ensuring comprehensive knowledge transfer on systems and upgrades.
3.Prepare detailed technical reports, operational manuals, and documentation for internal and client requirements.
Team Leadership and Development
1.Mentor and manage junior technical staff in troubleshooting, system applications, and machinery optimization.
2.Lead cross-functional teams in collaborative technical projects, ensuring project milestones are met.
3.Facilitate professional development for team members, ensuring the technical team stays ahead of industry standards.
Budget Control
1. Oversee budgeting for technical projects, maintenance schedules, and R&D initiatives.
2. Track and manage expenditures related to machinery upgrades, repairs, and new installations to ensure cost-efficiency.
Key Requirements:
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced technical certifications or a Master’s degree is an advantage.
Technical Expertise:
Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience in technical services, with a focus on the meat processing machinery industry. Expertise in machinery operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting at a senior level.
Leadership and Management:
Proven leadership in managing technical teams, driving operational excellence, and mentoring junior staff. Strong project management skills for handling complex technical issues.
Communication and Reporting:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing technical documentation and reports. Strong ability to interact effectively with stakeholders and clients.
