You are a talented and experienced CNC Setter/Programmer competent to oversee and operate our machines, assist in the production of quality parts and tools specific to engineering drawings, whilst upholding our quality standards, and meeting our customers specifications. A highly skilled operator, you demonstrate excellent attention to detail. With an in-depth knowledge of the latest equipment and techniques, you will excel in this role. A Mechanical Engineering - Trade qualification is advantageous, however, a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a CNC Machine Setter/Programmer is required and the possession of strong analytical abilities and good computer and mathematical skills is preferred. You must be able to:
• Organise and communicate information, interacting with computing technology
• Perform inspections to ISO 9001:2015
• Set/edit computer-controlled machines and processes, minimising set-up/optimising output
• Perform complex lathe operations (2-4 Axis – Twin spindle)
• Read and interpret technical drawings
• Undertake manual handling and use hand and power tools
• Perform engineering and precision mechanical measurements, general machining and milling operations
• Work safely and effectively
If you reside more than 100km from our Goulburn site, we may be prepared to offer paid rental property for your first three months of employment.
The successful applicant will earn a salary between $73,000 and $80,000 per annum (depending upon experience) with overtime available, working approximately 50 hours per week, normally Monday to Friday with rare Saturday hours.
