About the Role:
Sitecore seeks a Senior Solution Engineer to help support our industry leading Digital Experience Platform business. The Senior Solution Engineer will play an integral part of helping grow the business by providing technical and industry expertise to Sitecore’s sales and pre-sales organizations. This expertise will include providing technical presentations and product demonstrations, as well as strong knowledge in solution architecture, security and cloud technologies. The Senior Solution Engineer will also support Sitecore’s broader go-to-market strategies providing thought leadership through presenting at webinars, events and conferences.
What You’ll Do:
· Create a global community across specialists within product space.
· Drive close relationship with product to be the voice OF the customer, understand product roadmaps, gain knowledge of product releases before go-live, etc.
· Communicate information from product across SA Product team.
· Lead enablement strategy for global SE community.
· Understand customer needs, and bring the team together to drive solutions to problems that will result in revenue.
What You Need to Succeed:
· Understanding of the digital marketing space/industry.
· An ability to identify and understand the business problems, challenges, and opportunities of both marketing and technical buyers at the client.
· Understanding of client ecosystem/Martech stack and its goals.
· Ability to leverage a value selling approach to drive the sale (value of the product beyond features and functions, who uses it, why this customer needs it).
· Firm grasp of competitive solutions and how they compare to Sitecore.
· Ability to work as a team in partnership with the Account Executive.
· Strong discovery skills – probing for understanding, picking up on cues, ability to match company objectives to customer objectives.
· Identifies and is accountable to qualify out of a deal.
· Ability to bring solutions to life (use case development, demonstration from live properties, art of the possible (where could/should a customer be going), product demos, etc.
· Ability to code in one or more modern JavaScript frameworks like Next.js or Angular.
· Technical depth to recommend solutions and hold 101 solution conversations.
· Adapt message to appropriate audience (executives, IT, Marketing, Business, etc.)
· Works and supports Account Executive/Customer throughout the Sales Cycle.
· Deep technical understanding of one or more martech / digital experience products similar to Sitecore’s offerings.
