So as Financial Accounting Manager, what will you be doing? The main objectives of the Financial Accounting manager are:


To manage an effective and efficient year end audit process
To manage relationships with auditors and taxation authorities
To act proactively in ensuring that the Group adopts and complies with all statutory accounting and tax regulations globally
To act proactively in managing the provision of appropriate analysis and information to optimise the treasury management of the Group globally and recommend cash management approaches to optimise liquidity
To manage proactively foreign exchange exposure globally for the Group
To ensure that the Group operates appropriate internal control processes globally


Who are we looking for? The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with PQE (ACCA, ACA) and have previous experience of management, audit with the Big 4, consolidating results, statutory accounts and foreign exchange and corporate tax/VAT.

They will be proactive and delivery focused, an excellent verbal and written communicator and self motivated. They will have the ability to lead by example, and have effective time management and delegation skills.

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Coordinator to join our Global Customer Care Centre in Letchworth Garden City. Following an initial training period, this will be a hybrid working position, providing flexibility for both home and office working, Monday to Friday.

What will you be doing? As the first point of contact, you will play an important role providing excellent customer service to new and existing customers and accurately record customer requirements.

You will process sales orders and handle sales enquiries by phone or email.

You will be responsible for managing complex and bespoke orders for specific export markets, reviewing contracts, terms & conditions and facilitating the preparation of shipping, banking documentation and related paperwork, including Letters of Credit and Certificates of Origin

You will promote point of sale activities, including new product launches, sales promotions and the sale of short rolls, accessories, obsolete or discontinued stock

Who are we looking for? We need someone who has the ability to prioritise their workload, multitask and use their own initiative. An enthusiastic individual, with previous administration experience, who is a flexible, team player. Although not essential an internal/external sales background, experience of processing sales orders and experience of working with Middle Eastern Markets would be highly advantageous.

So as a Human Resources Business Partner, what will you be doing?

Reporting into the HR Manager and working alongside one other HRBP, and part of the wider HR Team, you will provide support and advice to your client group, ensuring that the Altro Group have the correct structure and resources to meet current and future business needs.

You will add value to both Altro and Autoglym by ensuring that the best people are attracted, recruited, trained and retained, in line with the needs of the business.

You will provide a generalist human resources service to specific divisions/areas of the company, ensuring that the Group is up to date on employment legislation and that policies are introduced and updated, as well as keeping an eye on future trends, ensuring a best practice approach with everything we do (we recently modernised our approach to performance management, by replacing annual appraisals and competency framework with regular informal check-ins).

An important part of your role will be to ensure that the Group provides a working environment where employees are treated fairly, and with respect, and to provide all staff with the support they need to achieve their full potential.

You will also be working closely with the other HR colleagues, ensuring great teamwork and sharing of knowledge.

Our team is growing here at Altro and we are currently recruiting for more hard working individuals to join us in our Logistics department.

We have a permanent opportunity within the team. The roles are based at our Head office in Letchworth Garden City and will be working on a rotating day shift Monday to Friday (One week 6am - 2pm, following week 2pm - 10pm)

What will you be doing?

As a Warehouse Operative you will perform a variety of different tasks within the Manufacturing department with the goal of delivering an excellent customer experience, whilst proactively contributing to Altro’s Zero Harm culture.

Your main responsibilities within Logistics will include:


Picking and packing the customer orders for flooring to designated deadlines
Loading and unloading transport vehicles with flooring rolls
Undertaking stock takes
To maintain housekeeping to excellent standards.

We are currently recruiting for a Customer Care Associate to join our friendly Walls division based in Lowestoft. Part of a close-knit and supportive team, this is a permanent position working Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week.

What will you be doing? As a Customer Care Associate, you will be the first point of contact for all our UK Customers. You will be responsible for receiving and entering UK Sales orders onto the system while resolving or facilitating the resolution of customer queries, relating to the technical aspect of Altro Walls products.

You will support and liaise with external sales teams as well as provide cover for the Estimator team in their absence, supporting UK & International quotations.

The aim will be to add value to the buying customer experience, by listening to VOC and applying positive change and continuous improvement.
