Summary: The primary purpose of this position is: To provide appropriate, specialized developmental care and instruction for children in the Child Development Center (CDC). In addition, performs basic oversight and supervision for a designated classroom for ages 6 months through 5 years. The incumbent may be designated as the supervisor on duty, as needed, whenever the Child Development Center (CDC) Director is not physically in the facility.

Duties:

• Designs, implements, and reviews activity plans.
• Observes and evaluates each child's health and development and reports on and maintains records of observations.

SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to plan, implement, administer, and advise on Voluntary Education opportunities, the Military Tuition Assistance (MilTA) program, career and force development programs, testing, and other education and training services and activities available to military members, Department of Defense (DoD) civilians and family members.

DUTIES:

• Provides individual career, academic, and force development advisement services to military personnel, dependents, and civilian personnel pursuing Voluntary Education opportunities.
• Serves as technical expert on a variety of Voluntary Education programs.
• Provides advisement and coordination on the SkillBridge program.
• Provides mass briefings and a variety of outreach and customer services duties.
• Performs various administrative duties related to the Voluntary Education program.

1. This position will support the Federal Government's response efforts to COVID-19. Leads a crew of three or more firefighters, including at least one firefighter (GS-07 or military equivalent) assigned to man a major piece of motorized firefighting equipment such as a pumper, aerial ladder truck, or Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) vehicle in firefighting and rescue operations.

2. Directs firefighting crew in the operation of firefighting vehicles and equipment.

3. Directs assigned crew in the performance of crash/rescue and firefighting duties at airfields handling complex (e.g., bombers, cargo, and passenger) aircraft; the performance of structural firefighting duties for a variety of facilities which may include research and/or large industrial complexes; and the performance of hazardous material (HAZMAT) containment and control and/or Basic Life Support duties.

4. Leads assigned crew and performs emergency rescue of personnel and a variety of first aid measures to alleviate further injury and prepare the victim(s) for transport to a medical facility.

5. Assigns crew members to perform maintenance of firefighting equipment and fire station facilities. Complies with health, safety, and environmental rules and procedures and performs work in a manner that enhances the safety of the work environment.

• Participates with the Branch Chief in providing maintenance expertise to Headquarters United States Aire Force Logistics (HAF), System Program Office (SPO), Major Command (MAJCOM) staff agencies, Numbered Air Forces, commanders, and tenant units for cradle-to-grave weapon system management and complies with legal and regulatory requirements to meet customer needs.
• Interprets and implements MAJCOM logistics policies and procedures, develops, schedules, and directs in conjunction with NC3 System Program Offices, Air Force Nuclear Weapon Center Program Office, and contractor maintenance programs.
• Represents HQ AFGSC/A4 and the NC3 Sustainment Division with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
• Serves the command in the development, planning, programming, acquisition, sustainment, and management of life cycle logistics support for ICBM NC3 systems, and support equipment.

GS-12 - The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the senior labor relations specialist at an Air Force (AF) installation, establishing and maintaining effective relationships including the use of non-traditional collaborative approaches with labor organizations that represent federal employees, negotiating and administering labor agreements, and providing guidance and consultation to management on a variety of labor relations matters. Also performs work that involves providing advice and assistance to employees and managers, program administration, research, and case management in matters related to conduct, performance, attendance, and dispute resolution.

Duties:

• As the senior labor relations specialist at an AF installation, oversees, carries out, and advises management on the local labor relations program.
• Negotiates labor agreements between management and labor organizations.
