The A10 product management team is expanding and defining new software, hardware and SaaS solutions. The product solutions architect team is a new team being formed inside the Product Management organization. This team of technical experts will be a source of knowledge for customers, corporate SE and field teams and facilitate customer feedback, working with Engineers, Product Managers, pre-sales solutions architects, the Corp and field SE teams. This team will be the driver that amplifies the efforts of the field SE and Corp SE teams new A10 products are brought into market.

The A10 product management team is expanding and defining new software, hardware and SaaS solutions.  The product solutions architect team is a new team being formed inside the Product Management organization.  This team of technical experts will be a source of knowledge for customers, corporate SE and field teams and facilitate customer feedback, working with Engineers, Product Managers, the Corp SE and field SE teams.   The DDoS Principal Product Solutions Architect plays a critical role to insert A10 DDoS solutions in enterprise and service provider environments for mitigation, detection and threat control. 

Role Description and Impact to the Business 

• Collaborate with the PM team in creating MVP such that all relevant items for customer acceptance are covered; This would include deployment scenarios and integration with 3rd party components
• Test Early Access and Technology Release code from engineering by deploying all components in the lab for customer experience, completeness of features/capabilities and completeness of documentation
• Validate use cases with Early Access and Technical Release code and identify if the code is on the path to meet the customer MVP
• Own the whole creation and dissemination of validated reference designs (VRDs), POC guidance templates (suggestions on how to create a PoC with the use case) and notes on how to respond to RFPs
• Compile a set of reference guides of A10 DDoS use cases and architectural deployments
• Own product and scale sizing to ensure proper sizing of A10 detection and mitigation solutions in customer environments
• Educate customers by developing demo videos and whiteboards
• Lower barrier for product insertion by creating and maintaining live demos for use by the broader A10 technical and sales engineering communities
• For technology partnerships, validate use cases and create the relevant VRD
• Collaborate with the PM and field teams to suggest partnership opportunities that add value to the A10 solutions

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent skills, and minimum 10+ years of experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, TAC manager or TME or Architect, preferably in cybersecurity company
• Demonstrable experience with DDoS technologies related to mitigation, detection, DDoS weapons and attack types
• Experience in service provider MSPP use cases and enterprise Cloud Scrubbing solutions
• Experience in hybrid and cloud-only use cases related to DDoS
• Experience with cloud Security, cryptography (e.g. TLS 1.3), application layer (L7) DDoS
• Knowledge of NIST and other organizational recommendations related to DDoS
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage a number of projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated success in earning trust across a broad variety of stakeholders
• Experience communicating security architecture to sales teams and sales leaders
• Experience in testing VM or container software with working knowledge of VMware ESX, KVM, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, DPDK
• Experience with testing HW and SW leveraging traffic generators 
• Proven prior experience writing validated reference designs (VRDs) and reference architectures
• Prior experience working with Product Owners in an Agile/Scrum product delivery environment
• Experience in agile development framework a plus

The RSD has responsibility for managing and developing accounts within the Illinois Enterprise market for accounts with 2,000 + employees.  You will be responsible for representing A10 Networks and selling its products and services to Enterprise accounts, specifically you will employ a high-touch, high-value sales model to successfully position A10 Networks technology into accounts.

You will be responsible for developing strategic customer relationships and new account sales across the territory. Specific requirements include developing a robust sales pipeline leading to the achievement of personal quotas.

Candidate Qualifications
The candidate must have prior experience of working as part of an Enterprise Account sales team selling network, infrastructure, security or enterprise software solutions. The ideal candidate will bring in prior relationships with a wide range of Enterprise Accounts and Channel Partners.

Position Qualifications

• Primary focus of this role is end-user sales and the role are responsible to drive end user new business sales and upsell opportunities for existing Customers
• Grow the business and deliver results to meet/exceed assigned target and % YoY growth
• Identify and qualify business opportunities with Enterprise Accounts  and mid-market Accounts. Support and develop new effective resellers in territory and make strategic business plans to drive business with partners (includes negotiation, coordination and business decisions to close deals)
• Develop reference accounts in select sectors with priority according to guidelines
• Develop and present professional sales presentations, control project progress at each stage, make constant sales calls and follow up with any potential leads, work with partners aggressively to close deals and finalize contracts, meet/exceed sales quotas and revenue goals
• Provide effective communication of A10's technology value propositions and solutions
• Manage partners' sales forecast reports as well as short-term/long-term business plans in an effective manner
• Maintain constant internal communications with Sales Engineer team and outside staff of resellers and customers. Turn in business forecast pipeline regularly and review with management on a weekly basis

A10 is looking for talented software engineers to help build a centralized management and control system to operate A10 network services such as DDoS protection, Firewall, load balancers, and others. These network services can be deployed in any public or private cloud and are aimed at protecting and securing customers applications and increasing their availability.

The centralized controller provides real time control and policy-based control of the network services. Use of machine learning on traffic patterns to generate actionable insights and predictive analytics. Another critical function is monitoring, trending, and reporting of managed services using a combination of traditional reporting and big data analytics. Your Technical Skills:

• Experienced and competent in Python. Other languages like C/Go/Java are a plus.
• Strong in object-oriented design and distributed system architecture
• Comfortable developing in Linux OS environment.
• Experienced in building distributed and scalable software using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge of RESTful application frameworks such as Flask/Django/NodeJS
• Background or experience with machine learning and generative AI is a big plus.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, resolve and document customer reported network issues via phone and/or e-mail
• Provide configuration recommendation and assistance in customer service deployment
• Recreate reported issues in lab with customer’s configuration and topology
• Work with QA and develop engineering teams to investigate and resolve software and hardware defects
• Perform patch qualification related tasks
• Responsible for analyzing data traces using protocol analyzers to identify anomalies and find solutions
