Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PR strategies to enhance the company’s image and position within the industry.
- Create and manage publicity campaigns for clients, ensuring their events secure positive media coverage.
- Help clients pitch and secure media write-ups for their events, working closely with media outlets and influencers.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
- Write and distribute press releases, organize media events, and secure media coverage for clients' events.
- Collaborate with event organizers to develop promotional strategies and ensure smooth execution of event promotions.
- Handle the operational and logistical aspects of events, ensuring seamless coordination with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Manage on-site event operations to ensure all aspects run smoothly, from set-up to post-event closure.
- Handle any public relations crises swiftly and professionally, ensuring the company’s and its clients’ reputations are protected.
- Prepare communication plans for potential issues and act as the company’s spokesperson when needed.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and event performance, adjusting PR strategies as needed to improve future outcomes.
- Provide reports and feedback to clients on the success of their media and publicity efforts.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year’ experience in a PR role, preferably within the events or entertainment industry.
- Strong understanding of media relations and social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
