Your new role
Your main responsibilities as the Supply Chain lead would be to act as the main point of contact for Regional SNO, coordinating on supply, demand and critical issues for the market which is Western Europe and Canada. You will also be the relationship manager for the 3PL accountable for excellent service and adherence to KPIs so communication is key in this role across such a large geographical area.

What you'll need to succeed
A successful candidate will need to have great knowledge of the legislation and regulations within the pharmaceutical industry whilst also having experience in ERP systems. You will also need experience managing demand as well as managing a 3PL.Alongside this, you will also have to be a great communicator in order to manage all key stakeholders both internally and externally.

You will be leading all supplier and stakeholder relationships, so you should be an expert communicator with the ability to win over the hearts and minds of stakeholders across companies and cultures.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a strong understanding of the FM category, your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the development of the wider team, as well as informing high pressure decision-making from day one. You should have extensive experience of managing suppliers and internal stakeholders across an international business - the ability to influence and manage stakeholders in an international environment is crucial to the success of this role. You would ideally be MCIPS qualified. However, this is not a pre-requisite for this role.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive base salary, flexible dependent upon experience. You will be able to work in a hybrid way, with 25 days of annual leave p/a, increasing with tenure. Private medical and dental will also be provided as standard, alongside a discretionary bonus of up to 15%.

A materials specialist company with ethical production and sustainability at the heart of their mission, this role will play a key role in the brand's continued growth.

Within the role, you will be working closely alongside the Brand Director, holding overall responsibility for all procurement and supply chain responsibilities.

Supply Chain Manager - Role

Process Planning and Management:

• Develop and implement inventory and procurement strategies that align with the brand's overall mission.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce inventory costs and streamline processes.
• Develop and manage the procurement budget, tracking, expenses and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
• Evaluate vendor quotations using appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Vendor Management:

• Identify and evaluate potential vendors, negotiate contracts, and establish relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor vendor performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with contractual terms.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Identify trends and areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance.
• Conduct regular analysis of inventory levels, turnover rates, and carrying costs.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

Supply Chain Manager - Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills and ability to multitask.
• Ability to develop and utilize data, metrics, and continuous improvement tools to consistently achieve organizational objectives.
