The role
As a Vehicle Conversion Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be part of a highly skilled team supporting customers including the police, fire, and ambulance service.
Day-to-day, you'll work as a team of 2 within the electrical vehicle production lines, you will ensure each vehicles electronics are checked and working correctly at the final stage.
- Ensure completed vehicles meet the set specifications once specialised electronic equipment have been added
- Use a laptop to check all functions are working correctly
- Ensure excel documents accurately updated
- Update inhouse computer programs
This position involves manual work. This could include lifting, bending, using tools or standing for extended periods of time.
This role is full time 40 hours per week and based onsite at Walsall.
Essential experience of the Vehicle Conversion Technician
- Automotive knowledge or experience
- Electrical knowledge would be advantageous
- Effective verbal and written communication
- IT literate

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) and NPPV security clearance for this role.
