We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Science Teacher to join us in September and make a significant impact on our students' educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and differentiated Science lessons that cater to the diverse needs of SEN students.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other staff members.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and other staff.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student well-being and academic growth.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.
Key Skills and Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in Science.
• Experience teaching in an SEN setting, with a strong understanding of various special educational needs and disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and adapt teaching materials to suit individual student needs.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with SEN students.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a dynamic classroom environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
