Are you passionate about teaching science in a supportive, student-focused environment? We're seeking a Science Specialist (QTS) to join our committed team. This role provides the opportunity to work with small class sizes, capped at 12 students, allowing for personalized and impactful teaching.
Our students, who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs (SEMH), often face additional challenges such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. We embrace a 'can't do yet' philosophy, fostering resilience and growth. As part of our trauma-informed school, you will receive comprehensive therapeutic training and support, equipping you to address the unique needs of our students.
The Role:
- Deliver a broad Science curriculum across various levels, including Key Stage 3, GCSE, and Functional Skills.
- Cultivate professional, nurturing relationships with students to inspire and engage them.
- Collaborate with educational and therapy professionals, parents/carers, and local authorities to achieve outstanding outcomes.
- Contribute to both academic and extra-curricular programs, bringing your own passions and expertise to the table.
