As a Biological Science Technician (Fisheries) within the Eastern Ecological Science Center, some of your specific duties will include:

• Assist in ecological investigations on a river/stream, in a boat, wet lab, unheated flume/hatchery facility or other field environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:The work environment varies from laboratory setting to field sites and offices. • Participates as a team member with the scientist in all phases of the research process and assumes full technical and operational responsibility for specific phases of the research. Provides input into the initial planning of experiments.
• Collects, prepares, evaluates and verifies samples and supporting records.

• Organizes experimental progress in the form suitable for oral presentation or posters for scientific meetings.
