Responsibilities:

• Develop various photonics testing capabilities for both chips and wafers, including design and building of measurement setups

• Optimize data acquisition and analysis process to improve test efficiency, e.g. automation of measurement processes for wafer-scale testing and corner analysis

ROLE:
A*STAR-IME is leading the way in establishing industry first 200mm open Silicon Carbide (SiC) R&D program. Our objective is to drive innovation in power device research, particularly in power MOSFETs rated above 1.2KV. This role involve growing leadership into ion implantation processes for p-body, channel, guard ring, source contact, and other components. The chosen candidate will be responsible for independently supervising ion implantation processes, conducting ion implant simulations, possessing knowledge of crystallography and ion interaction with atoms, having strong understanding of implanters and related thermal processing physics, beam optics, dosimetry systems, and vacuum technology. • Establish regular area walks to identify opportunities for improved safety, cleanliness, housekeeping and efficiency
• Establish regular, working interaction with peers as well as vendors in tool installation & facilitation, communicating clearly and respectfully all relevant information.
• Keep the reporting officer informed regarding the progress of assigned work and any abnormalities observed in your area.
• Demonstrate ability to understand drawing and highlighting discrepancies
• Follow area-specific procedures and documentation
• Prioritize work tasks to meet schedule and expectations, minimum guidance
• Perform tool tool-relativities and cleanroom systems troubleshooting during the hookup phase
• To perform equipment trouble-shooting of the equipments in NGTC when the need arises
• To perform utility-on after installation completion and to work closely with LCAM for complete closure
• To perform tests balancing of exhaust for new tools whenever necessary
• To perform measures for tool consumption during the hookup phase and to work closely with LCAM
• Use methods to organize, calculate, and display data accurately for utility and flowrate measurement
• Perform site activities in accordance to the Discipline

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical engineering or equivalent
• Semiconductor experience (Equipment & Process)
• Facilities field or Wafer Fab Manufacturing equipment background will be an advantage.
