Main responsibilities:
To support the Science department with their responsibility for the development and education of children at Holmleigh Park High School.
To provide technician support for the Science department.
Prepare and assemble apparatus, equipment and chemicals as required in preparation for practical lessons.
To assist colleagues in the delivery of practical support to engage students with their Science learning.

Science Laboratory Technician –Chemistry
37 Hours per week – TTO + 1 week holiday working.
Salary: Grade 4 points 6-8, £23,893-£24,702
Actual pro-rata salary (£17,870-£18,475)
Chosen Hill School would like to appoint a Laboratory Technician to provide technical support to the Chemistry department within the science faculty. Previous experience of working in a school laboratory environment would be advantageous and an A level (or equivalent) in Chemistry is a requirement.
The Science Technicians play a key role in the success of the Science department, and you will be a member of a team of five technicians who support all aspects of the science curriculum from KS3 to KS5. The ability to work well in a team as well as be self-motivating is a requirement.

Overview:Gloucester Academy has been under new leadership since February 2020. We are now part of the Greenshaw behaviour management system, so every student receives disruption free learning - in every lesson. The new leadership team, supported by the staff, work together to drive our aim to help every student climb their own personal mountain. Overview:
