About the Role
The Business Support Officer will provide support to the multi-agency Safeguarding Adults Board and it’s subgroups to ensure the Board works efficiently and effectively.
This involves supporting the Board Chair, Board Manager and Subgroup Chairs with meeting administration including setting up multi-agency meetings as well as development sessions, taking minutes, collating and sending out papers and updating action logs.
This exciting role also provides an opportunity to be involved in different workstreams providing administration support for audits, data collection, staff surveys and Safeguarding Adults Reviews, as well as comms and engagement around key safeguarding topics through supporting with organising an annual conference, updating the website and helping to coordinate various awareness raising exercises with partner agencies.
Although the Board has a statutory role, it’s areas of focus are growing and evolving, giving you an opportunity to be part of its continued development.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of planning and organising own workload and be able to work flexibly in a pressurised environment;
- Extensive use of and experience using MS Office Suite;
- An ability to actively problem solve and implement solutions in a focused and positive way;
- Ability to work in a confidential and politically sensitive environment.
- A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
