Job Requirements
- Fluent in Mandarin (Compulsory) and English
- Min SPM, Diploma or Degree – major in Logistics, International business, marketing and economics an advantage;
- Fresh graduate or Minimum 1 year work experience – preferable sales / marketing in service industry
- Experience in shipping agency industry will be an added advantage
- Possess own transport, and is willing to travel outstation
- Industry knowledge of both international and local Malaysian shipping practices will be an advantage;
Responsibility
- Responsible for promoting and selling the company's logistics services, maintaining sales goals, pipeline, and objectives.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships, assessing client-specific needs, and creating solutions that align with the company's logistics sales strategy.
- Prospecting and cultivating new sales leads to establish business.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Providing quotes for current and prospective customers using analytical and logistic planning.
- Assessing customer needs and problems, communicating and implementing logistics solutions.
- Working out logistics concepts to improve customers' logistics supply chain.
- Maintaining constant awareness of product offerings and developments in the logistics market.
- Following up closely with current and prospective customers on offered solutions.
- Taking ownership of customer issues and following through until resolution.
- Responsible for ensuring successful pick-up and delivery, as well as
- providing over-the-road assistance for customers' freight.
- Performing any other related tasks assigned from time to time.
