Renfrewshire Council is seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic marketing professional to join the team and support the marketing of its portfolio of brands and campaigns.
You will be part of a team delivering a professional operating as part of a full-service marketing and communications service. You will have a degree in marketing or related subject and experience of working in a similar role. You will know how to manage campaigns and budgets from briefing and planning stages, to implementation, campaign measurement and client feedback.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a range of marketing activities to position Renfrewshire position Renfrewshire as a great place to live, work and visit.
You will be able to plan integrated marketing campaigns utilising all marketing channels, with expert skills in research, developing customer insight and digital marketing.
It is essential you hold a degree in marketing or equivalent, previous experience in a similar marketing role, managing a portfolio of brands and campaigns, a proven track record in developing, planning, and implementing strategic marketing campaigns to fulfil marketing objectives. It is also essential to have digital communications experience, including social media campaigns, social media management and website management and experience of managing budgets.
Effective communication, presentation, leadership, problem solving and team building skills are also essential skills as well as the ability to manage conflicting deadlines, work with minimum supervision, as part of a team. It is also essential to demonstrate a flexible approach to working as the role will [occasionally] require some evening or weekend work across multiple locations in Renfrewshire.
A driving licence and previous local government experience are desirable.
