We offer a competitive salary, bonus and pension scheme with terms and conditions covered by the EDF Nuclear Generation Personal Contract. The starting salary will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experience, and qualifications. We promote work/life balance through a flexible hybrid work arrangement, spanning 37 hours per week. We’re open to appoint throughout the UK along with flexibility of attending other sites/stations such as Gloucester Business Park, Atlantic Quay and other stations on a business need basis.

What you'll be doing
In this pivotal role, you’ll take charge of driving the successful transition of fleet sites in collaboration with NRS, ensuring strategic goals are met and facilitating a smooth and timely transfer of site ownership upon the declaration of fuel-free status. Other roles and responsibilities will also include:
- Develop and execute intricate programme integration plans, aligning with critical enablers from various stakeholders. Balance the need for seamless operations while prioritizing safety and compliance as the utmost concern.
- Maintain a strategic perspective on interdependencies and enablers, aligning and coordinating to maximize benefits and synergies. Forge strong connections with other large-scale programme and existing functions to leverage capabilities and minimize the risk of duplicative efforts.
- Implement a consistent framework for transitional activities, overseeing integrated definition, planning, delivery, and assurance processes.
- Manage strategic and programme risks, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of interdependencies. Develop robust risk mitigation plans with the support of relevant stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Lead a collaborative culture, fostering stakeholder engagement. Develop and maintain stakeholder and communication plans, ensuring effective interfaces with key teams in NRS and maintaining strong relationships with sites.
- Serve as the custodian of touchpoints with UK nuclear regulators (ONR and EA/SEPA) on transition and transfer matters. Proactively manage interfaces, ensuring regulators are engaged at the right time with the necessary information.
- Address issues promptly and, when necessary, communicate them to the relevant governance level for support and resolution.
Who you are.
At a minimum, you’ll hold a degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field and experience of working in a similar role around business transformation delivery along with a proven track record of delivering complex programmes, working with senior/director-level stakeholders in highly regulated environments.

- Being a strategic thinker with a proven ability to manage complex issues and collaborate effectively in matrix management settings.
- Thrive in an open-scoped environment and possess decisive decision-making skills.
- Hold strong stakeholder engagement skills, gaining buy-in through transparent communication and simplifying complex issues. With this, also be an influential leader with a broad span of influence, collaborating across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to turn information into insights aligned with strategic objectives, taking timely and considered actions.
- Management experience in a highly regulated industry, ideally nuclear or energy along with a deep understanding of nuclear licensing and permitting requirements in the UK.
- Proficient in matrix management and overseeing work performance.
To be appointed to this role, you will need to meet the criteria for Security Vetting which will, ordinarily, require you to have been a resident of the UK for at least 3 of the last 5 years.
