Reporting to the Head of Investment, you will be responsible for proactively manage its investment portfolio to achieve the company's strategic objectives and commercial returns. You have about 10 years of investment experience in Southeast Asia with an in-depth understanding of any of the Southeast Asia real estate markets.

Job Requirements:

• At least 12 years of corporate credit experience within the banking/financial institution industry.

• Experience in risk analysis and formulating recommendations on credit proposals across a broad range of client types, including corporates, across a number of jurisdictions in Asia and/or Oceania.

Enable and support market performance management: Work with the BDs to monitor BU performance and outcomes. In particular, this role would:

6. Review and finalise consolidated information from the BDs

SBG narrative: Be the author and designer of the SBG’s major external content. Eg:

1. Author messaging about the SBG’s markets for investor reporting as well as Group Executive and Board presentations. Gather inputs from relevant sources, understand critical points and bring together in concise and impactful communications.

2. Draft scripts, documents and speeches for the MD including but not limited to Board, Regulator meetings, Agency events and other major situations.

3. Craft position papers for decisions at GEC and Board, balancing in depth analysis and clear and simple communications to maximise impact on readers.

4. Support the Agency and Health teams to enhance their content where required.

Support key SBG management activities: Working with the CoS, this will include:

1. Planning and executing major SBG meetings and events;

2. Track major SBG actions and ensure delivery to timelines

Minimum requirements: (Qualifications and Experience)

• Minimum 12 years of work experience

• Ideally have experience in an insurance institution (though other financial institutions are welcome)

• Ideally have experience in Strategy team or Financial Planning & Analysis

• Proven track record of dealing with senior management

What you will be responsible for

As a key solutions architect, you will

• Maintain a good understanding of all State Street products and services across the Alpha platform spanning both Private and Public markets including STT’s expertise in data aggregation.
• Develop and stay current with State Street strengths that differentiate us from the competition (especially as it relates to State Street Alpha).
• Keep abreast of industry initiatives & emerging trends.
• To maintain an understanding of Alternatives asset strategies of Asset Owners and Asset Managers servicing their core servicing requirements.
• Develop, agree and implement strategic client account plans working closely with other departments within IS and the rest of STT to position our Alternatives servicing pipeline
• Have direct responsibility for all aspects of the commercial, strategic and contractual discussion with prospective clients and current client growth opportunities
• Working closely with global teams/SME’s to drive solution design
• Partnering with the implementation team to ensure we can execute against commitments
• Develop and deepen staff awareness of our APAC Alternatives pipeline
• Co-ordinate with all others areas of State Street to create cross selling opportunities for the firm
• Assist the Senior Executive Officer team in developing and maintaining an executive calling program for SSBT executives
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and targets appropriate individuals in client organizations. Introduces and support product sales (GM) specialists as needed.
• Facilitate cross divisional resolution of business line conflicts; elevate issues to next level of executive management as appropriate.
• Collaborate with sales originators to foster a coordinated solutioning effort

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We’re looking for a professional to join our RDS team in Singapore. This individual is expected to contribute to decisions regarding financial resource management, as well as serve as Treasury’s main point of contact with businesses which consume or generate funding

• Develop and iteratively optimize the firm’s funding liability strategy, considering cost, channel diversification, maturity concentration, and impact to key liquidity and capital metrics, with a focus on APAC entities
• Build models, develop analytical frameworks, and conduct scenario analysis to help inform marginal liability management and financial resource allocation decisions based on liquidity availability, marginal costs, return profile, and franchise benefits
• Partner with key stakeholders in Global Banking and Markets, Asset and Wealth Management, and Platform Solutions to deploy the firm’s balance sheet, and to facilitate new activities
• Develop reporting for, and present analyses of, firmwide and subsidiary-level funding plans, for use by internal and external stakeholders, including firmwide senior management, regulators, and investors
• Engage with external stakeholders including regulatory agencies, ratings agencies, and funding counterparties in various forums
• Develop meaningful partnerships with internal stakeholders; develop tools to enhance decision-making capabilities

QUALIFICIATIONS

• Approximately 5 years of working experience in Treasury or a finance-related function in a major financial institution or corporate
• Excellent analytical skills, with ability to formulate problems, test hypotheses, and condense complex problems into plain language
• Experience managing and interpreting large amounts of data, and analyzing the output to identify trends and present solutions through business intelligence tools such as Tableau
• Functional understanding of financial institution financial reports, as well as subsidiary liquidity and capital requirements such as LCR, NSFR, and the G-SIB surcharge
• Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to produce polished presentation materials for senior executives
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and balancing multiple priorities

Job Purpose

The Asia Head of Rates and Currencies Investor Sales is responsible for driving the sales of macro cross-asset products to institutional investor clients. Main activities consist of building and marketing of flow and non-flow macro products to Institutional Investors in the Asia Ex-Japan region, with a key focus on real money and hedge fund clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Sales Management responsibilities over designated team members to lead and drive to meet sales targets, supervise a sales team, manage day-to-day operations, and own product development responsibilities

Job Requirements

• More than 12 years of sales experience in flow and structured interest rates and FX products
• Strong senior and working relationships in Asia with institutional clients including central banks, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers and especially hedge funds which is backed by proven consistent execution track record and positive feedback
• Independent and motivated to deliver results while working in a collaborative environment. Good project management and coordination skills would be a pre-requisite
• Leadership skills to inspire and groom a team to extract best performance
• Solid market connection and intelligence to be plugged in to latest market trends, information, industry knowledge, product knowledge
