An exciting opportunity has arisen for a School Business Manager to work at a senior level working at Bolsover Church of England Junior School. Your new role
This will be a busy role, the main purpose of the role will be to process customer sales orders and produce sales quotations. There isn't any sales or selling involved in this role. The successful applicant will join a busy sales administration department and this role would suit someone who is used to working in a fast-paced environment. The role will involve direct customer support and the post would suit someone who builds excellent rapport and relationships with customers.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they hold previous experience of the duties and responsibilities of the post as outlined below;
- Responsible for accurate sales order processing, receiving orders, producing quotes and following up on quotes to secure orders in a timely manner or to SLA agreement with customer
- Produce accurate sales order quotes, templates are used but you will need to have a good eye for details to get the correct information into the quote
-Contact customers to discuss the quote and obtain the order via email or phone, build relationships with customers
- Update Excel based reports ( An intermediate level of Excel will be required including ideally pivot table , v look up )
- Resolve invoice queries
- Check stock and notify customers of delivery dates/ changes to delivery dates
- Discuss alternative product lines with customers where neccessary
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers if required
- Completing Excel based Sales reporting to show order updates and sales trends ( daily/ weekly / monthly)

You will ideally have previous Sales Admin / Inside Sales / Internal Sales Admin experience

- Support the design, development and implementation of the Chambers marketing strategy to maximise opportunities, help to grow membership and show value in membership, along with helping the delivery and success of events/training.
- Deliver improved and targeted campaigns resulting in more prospects converting into good quality business relationships utilising the Chamber CRM system.
- Be creative and keep abreast of relevant innovation and developments to ensure marketing practices are cutting-edge and effective; including supporting delivery staff to develop their skills and knowledge to maximise performance.
- Ensure brand messaging and identity is consistent across all channels and marketing communications.
- Effectively line manage the marketing department to succeed with their goals and objectives.
