Salary: Circa £37,000 (Depending on experience)

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to join our Inhouse Sales team. This position will be dedicated to managing and cultivating relationships with smaller accounts in the UK and Ireland, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with field accounts by understanding their business requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving problems.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
- Bring in to clients to achieve overall sales targets and support company growth.
- Collaborate closely with technical, marketing, and product teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Keep precise records of customer interactions, sales activities, and account statuses using CRM software.
- Generate regular reports on account performance and sales forecasts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Requirements:
- Approximately 3 years of experience in account management, sales, or a similar role, ideally in the technology, manufacturing, packaging, vacuum, industrial or precision industry.
- Having a foundational technical knowledge in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, and Vacuum technology is an advantage.
- Completion of a commercial or technical apprenticeship or a hold a degree preferably in STEM / engineering or the sciences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of establishing strong relationships with clients.
- Independent and self-motivated, with the ability to work without supervision.
