Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of our product lines, particularly in partitions and laminates, and will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities
Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of the Partition brand, its product lines, and technical specifications to assist clients effectively.
Client Engagement: Proactively approach potential and existing clients through appointments and presentations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their needs.
Sales Operations: Oversee the sales of company products and services, enhancing customer relationships, problem-solving, and addressing inquiries related to partition products and laminates.
Business Development: Aggressively pursue new business opportunities within the architectural and design industries, creating brand awareness and identifying additional opportunities in flooring and veneers.
Account Management: Manage long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring consistent service and follow-ups on project specifications and inquiries.
Team Leadership: Lead the sales team, implementing creative strategies to optimize sales performance and regularly monitoring representative activities to ensure effective time management and goal achievement.
Market Awareness: Stay informed about market conditions, workplace requirements, pricing, and lead times to provide clients with timely and relevant information.
Collaboration: Regularly coordinate with the QS teams and suppliers regarding product feasibility and pricing for each project. Engage with clients during tender briefings and collect necessary information for tenders and quotations.
Presentation and Specification: Ensure regular presentations of products to architects, interior designers, and developers, assisting them in specifying our range of products for various projects.
Project Tracking: Keep track of upcoming projects in sectors such as hospitality, retail, commercial, and residential, ensuring that the sales team is well-prepared.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the construction or interior design industry.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop strategic relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM technologies and reporting tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
