About the Role
To take the lead role in managing the use of the Idox systems (Uniform, Idox DMS and other component modules) within Regulatory Services as well as managing a team which delivers high quality technical support to Regulatory Services, residents, businesses and the wider community across Kingston and Sutton.
To be responsible for the management the Regulatory Compliance Team
To provide high quality technical support across Regulatory Services
To provide ICT support to enable teams within the Council make the best use of the Idox suite of systems and data, to assist in improving processes and the customer experience.
To produce reports and registers and assist with data interrogation including Freedom of Information enquiries, statutory returns and other data requests using MS Access reporting tools.
To actively participate in procurement, including sourcing and purchasing items and keeping records of the steps involved in the procurement process.
To assist with financial management including raising purchase orders, and invoices.

The Regulatory Compliance team is part of Regulatory Services, a shared service across Kingston and Sutton. The team provides high quality technical support services for a range of statutory functions including Licensing, Environmental Health and Trading Standards providing a varied workload. The team is friendly and supportive and work with a range of businesses and residents providing information and advice on legislative compliance.
About You
As an enthusiastic, organised person with a passion for providing good customer service you will take pride in motivating your team and have a desire to continuously improve systems and ways of working. In order to successfully deliver the responsibilities of the role, you will need to:
Have knowledge and experience of the Idox systems (Uniform, Idox DMS and other component modules)
Assist in the specification and implementation of corporate ICT systems and processes which integrate with Idox systems.
Prepare and provide new user and refresher training to Idox users, regularly liaise with users and provide information (process notes, FAQs etc.). Enabling users to self-serve to resolve common issues/requirements and assist where more technical input is required.
Produce reports and registers and assist with data interrogation including Freedom of Information enquiries, statutory returns and other data requests using MS Access reporting tools.
Assist the business areas to ensure that Idox data and information is of the appropriate quality and accuracy
