• Assesses contractor/subcontractor/vendor quality assurance controls; then adjusts product audits.
• Creates risk management program to mitigate the Governments risk by analyzing data/contractual requirements, preparing surveillance plans, and addressing specific customer/organizational requirements.
• Evaluates supplier quality systems using data validation, post-award first article meetings, and supplier’s test reports, then recommends dis/approval to contracting officers.
• Evaluates supplier’s responses to quality issues and requests corrections. Retains relevant data, correspondence, audits, etc.

Major duties include, but are not limited to the following below:
The incumbent performs work of a broad scope and complexity in practices related to scientific and engineering fields and has demonstrated the ability to interpret, select, adapt, and apply many guidelines, precedents and engineering principles and practices. Duties include construction quality assurance and Construction Safety as related to contract administration activities to assigned construction projects.

• Participates in design review conferences, reviews preliminary plans and specifications prior to advertisement for practicability, anticipated physical obstructions and other construction difficulties and availability of selected materials. Attends and participates in pre bid conferences to orient and inform bidders as to features, requirements, and special conditions.
• Reviews final plans and specifications for construction feasibility and practical accomplishment, and interprets technical portions for other participants.
• Reviews correspondence and reports on construction status and progress, tests, administration, end contractor's estimates relative to construction of the project and unanticipated contingencies, and makes decisions and/or recommendations relative to most practical methods of accomplishing desired results.
• Reviews or initiates proposed changes in contract requirements and makes recommendations for desirability, construction feasibility, and reasonableness of costs.
• Decides upon such matters as suitability of completed work, adequacy of construction equipment, practicability of construction operations, reasonableness of schedules and estimates, adequacy of inspection and control procedures, end effectiveness of earth placement procedures.
• Incumbent also meets frequently with contractors for negotiations, Contracting Officers, and vendors from the private sector.
• The incumbent analyzes, selects, and adapts appropriate methods from a wide range of alternatives to assess unusual circumstances; evaluate operations, equipment, and activities; and apply qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques.
• Uses judgment, initiative, and resourcefulness in deviating from established methods to modify, adapt, and/or refine broader guidelines to resolve complex and/or intricate issues and problems; treat specific issues or problems; research trends and pattern; develop new methods and criteria; and/or propose new policies and practices.
• Knowledge of construction industry safety standards and their application in order to determine adequacy and validity of contractor data and compliance with safety requirements.
• Knowledge of common contractual requirements, terms, conditions, plans, and specifications including statements of work, performance standards, contractor surveillance methods, administration, surveillance, and evaluation functions.
• Knowledge and skill in preparing and maintaining designs using AutoCAD or other specialized software.
• Skill in gathering, analyzing, and maintaining statistical data and reports that monitor contract compliance. Ability to communicate orally and in writing to convey information and to prepare briefing papers.

Overview of the Role
You will provide a professional administrative service supporting the data cleansing activities of the CPS Programme for the Purchasing work stream. Working with colleagues and suppliers, you will ensure that the master data is accurate, complete and consistent to enable a seamless migration to a new ERP solution. You will have a proactive approach to problem solving, helping to resolve purchasing and invoice queries and will work with the SAP purchasing system (P2P) and other in-house procurement systems entering information and generating reports. You will be self-motivated and resourceful with excellent communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people and as part of a team. You will have strong numeracy and literacy and IT skills and be willing to undertake any training required that is relevant to your role.

What does the role entail?
* Resolving blocked invoice queries using SAP MRBR and ZMIR5 reporting
* Generating standard SAP reports and extracting master data
* Assisting with the correction of vendor records
* Liaising with suppliers to obtain company information to ensure the
completeness of vendor records
* Supporting the closure of completed purchase orders and identifying any
remediation required to maintain the GR/IR account
* Ensuring open purchase requisitions are approved or closed as required to maintain data quality
* Building up a network of staff contacts, liaising to discuss mutual problems and working to devise solutions which may be adopted as best practise
* Maintaining records and files to an auditable standard

Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
* Knowledge of SAP ERP System;
* Familiarity with working in a small team managing purchasing issues &
questions, working on your own initiative, good communicator and have the
ability to network across the organisation both internally and with external
suppliers;
* Accuracy of data entry into an ERP System;
* Ability to rectify master data corrections in a timely manner with an audit trail embedded;

Assists in the inspection of ammunition, to include performing maintenance, care preservation, shipping and storage operations, assuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, drawings, and other assigned activities during operations. Spot checks ammunition accountability and stock accounting procedures. Contributes to causative research by identifying items with lost or missing identifications; or, material items found on-post through verification inspection. Researches through data bases to identify lots and dates of arrival. Assists in the inspections of ammunition storage structures to assure safe storage, compatibility, explosive limits; and, identifies structural deterioration and inventory and security practices. 25%

2. Directs preparation of various ammunition transaction documents pertaining to receipts, issues, location changes, turn-ins, shipping, along with the maintenance and inventory adjustment of ammunition items. Performs safe-handling procedures and explosive safety requirements for the issue, receipt, storage, maintenance, and transportation of ammunition. Must be active in collecting transactions affecting asset visibility, serial numbers, condition codes, lot number identification by class and compatibility group, and DODIC data/transfer as required IAW AR 55-355, AR 190-11, AR 190-51, DA PAM 385-64 and DOT Regulations. Escorts, loads, and unloads trucks in the ASP. Maintains magazine data cards and planography (if required) on location and updates as necessary. Sorts, visually inspects, and locates items by DODIC, lot number and condition codes. 25%

3. Provides technical assistance and guidance in using the automated Standard Army Ammunition System Modernization (SAAS-MOD) system. When required, loads change packages, uploads inventory data, runs reports and provides technical advice on stock record control operations to co-workers and customers. Monitors pending receipts/shipments and maintains overall operational awareness of activities within the ASP. Maintains hard copy files of supply transactions, voucher numbers, causative research, adjustment documents, documents, document register, and other records related to ASP operations. Collects data and provides reports as required. 20%

4. Plans and accomplishes inventories of all stocks. Oversees and directs causative research required to correct discrepancies. Assists in accountability for all ammunition, missiles/rockets, residue, components and packing materials stored at the ASP. Uses available resources to resolve errors; determines the cause of discrepancies; and, makes required adjustments to bring stock records into agreement with inventories. Provides technical assistance in using the various programs in order to maintain a complete and accurate database. Performs location surveys and sensitive item inventories as directed. 15%

5. Archives files and performs system back-ups and restore applications. Uses various computer operation systems/programs (MS-Windows; MS-Office) to enhance administrative capabilities; and, develops unique databases and spreadsheets, as needed for management, of munitions stocked, issued, and received by the ASP. Prepares and ensures daily, weekly, and monthly files and reports are transmitted to the appropriate offices. Coordinates with other unit personnel to ensure the smooth operation of ammunition projects concerned with requirements, receipts, shipping, re-warehousing activities, issues, turn-ins, and material disposition. 10%

6. Reviews data input, reports, change packages, day-to-day operations and makes recommendations to resolve problems. Provides SAAS-MOD automated system training for new users. Trains ASP personnel on the proper operation of the SAAS-MOD computer system; as well as, other authorized software applications. Maintains hardware and software systems and manual records, if required, to successfully perform stock control and accounting procedures for ammunition and explosives. Reports to the Accountable Officer (AO); ASP Manager, Ammunition NCO; and/or, the Ammunition Supervisor for instructions and ammunition handling procedures. Assists the Accountable Officer, ASP Manager, Ammunition NCO, and the Ammunition Supervisor in maintaining accountability for all ammunition, missiles, rockets, residue, components and packing materials stored at the ASP. 5%

Oversee the timely production of annual group, subsidiary and JV statutory accounts.
Manage interim and year end audit process for group and the JVs.
Ensure VAT and corporation tax submissions are accurate, paid and filed on time.
Ensure any other regulatory reporting is accurate and submitted on time.
Assist with the preparation and review of balance sheet recs and other tasks as required.
Assisting with the preparation and review of working capital reporting including variance analysis.
Review and maintain accounting policies and procedures documents to ensure current and in line with relevant accounting standards.
Research and advise on any new accounting standards and regulatory reporting to ensure compliance including drafting policies, procedures and implementing controls for these.
Ensure appropriate financial controls are in place and functioning effectively. Review any issues arising and draft and implement mitigating controls and procedures for all areas of accounting and reporting.
