Role: Quality Lead (Education)
Salary: £30 - £35k per annum - dependent on experience

Working hours: Full Time (37.5 hrs pw)
Location: Ashton-under-Lyne (OL6 7PT) or Manchester (M1 3HY)

As the Quality Lead (Education), your primary responsibility is to uphold exceptional education standards across ESFA funded contracts. You'll achieve this by implementing robust quality controls, maintaining standards, and ensuring alignment with the criteria of funding and awarding bodies, Ofsted guidelines, and recognised best practices. What you’ll do
- Setting and maintaining standards – set clear and high expectations of all staff involved with responsibility for learning, including managers and delivery staff
- Monitoring and evaluation – conduct formal and informal OTLA and scrutiny of learner work, learner documents and learner voice to identify good practice and areas for development
- Effective teaching, learning and assessment – ensure consistently high-quality learning experiences to engage, include, support and challenge learners, using appropriate learning resources and pedagogies
- Outcomes for learners – ensure that provision meets learners’ needs and enables them to make good progress from their individual starting points toward individual next steps
- Quality Improvement – co-ordinate quality improvement activity to address findings of SAR, setting and evaluating actions and reporting regularly to the AEB Board
- Quality assurance – support and challenge partners and supply chain colleagues to ensure that the standards set for Standguide prime contract provision are consistently applied to all provision, including provision subcontracted to other providers in our supply chain and provision delivered by Standguide as a subcontractor for other primes
- Maximise income by ensuring that funding body rules and quality standards are consistently met.
What you’ll need
- Degree or equivalent in relevant subject area
- Leadership qualification
- Teaching qualification minimum Level 5
- Curriculum design and planning experience
- Experience in development and implementation of quality improvement plans
- Experience in development and delivery of CPD for teaching staff
- Experience in meeting educational quality standards and working within the Ofsted - Education Inspection Framework
- Ability to inspire, support and motivate teachers
- Ability to articulate a vision for outstanding education and lead by example.
Overseas equivalent qualifications will be accepted.
