In exercising assigned responsibilities, the Compliance Accountability Officer (Risk and Change Management) is guided by applicable laws, regulations, policies, enterprise risk management frameworks, change management strategies, the Peace Corps strategic plan, and other authorities and directives. The incumbent will monitor trends of compliance issues for Headquarters offices and overseas Posts and work to implement strategies and tools to mitigate the systemic issues. S/he will do this by maintaining ongoing, regular knowledge of the senior leadership change management strategies, agency policies, findings and recommendations of the Office of the Inspector General, guidance and directives of the Office of Management and Budget, and all other relevant authorities. Work requires extensive liaison and the incumbent coordinates efforts, as appropriate, with other compliance staff to avoid duplication or conflict.
The Compliance Accountability Officer (Risk and Change Management) performs the following major duties:
- Program Management of a proactive compliance program
- Data Analysis
- Advice/Recommendations and Stakeholder Management
