About the Role:• You will work as part of our dynamic catering team in Hartpury’s kitchen and eating outlets across the campus, from the Equine Centre to hospitality in the Sports Academy on match days. • Assisting with the movement of catering goods and equipment around campus • Inventory and stock management following the Stock Labelling and Rotation System • Responsible for stock items across campus and ensuring orders are received and storing at appropriate temperatures. • Cleanliness of all stock areas including fridges, freezers, dry goods areas, delivery loading bay and transport vehicles.
About You:• Some experience working in a similar role or fast-paced environment is desirable although not essential • Knowledge of Micros, Materials Control, or similar stock control systems • You will have the flexibility to start an early shift at 7am or finish a late shift at 11pm, including weekend working • Ability to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene • You will ideally hold manual handling & food hygiene certificates or be willing to work towards • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel

Clarkson Evans is the largest electrical contractor in the new build housing sector, wiring over 24,000 homes and exceeding turnover of £60m in a typical year. Headquartered in Gloucester and established for over 40 years, we work for all the leading housebuilders, operating nationwide. Our Warehouse team plays a key role in the smooth running of the business by ensuring that our Electricians have all the kit they need to complete their work for the day.

You will be part of a close team of Warehouse Operatives, interacting with different sections of the department to help complete daily tasks – good team spirit ensures this is done efficiently. On the job training is provided by a member of the team to ensure our processes are clear and you are aware of the high level of accuracy needed. Opportunities to progress onto more senior roles are possible should circumstances be right.

We are looking for someone with a flexible approach but typically, you will work ten hours per day; 5.30am to 3.30pm, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

This is a varied role, with your main responsibilities being:
• Picking all materials ordered from set pick lists (produced by site-based teams)
• Identifying and reporting discrepancies
• Monitoring and maintaining minimum stock levels
• Processing faulty items ready to be returned to suppliers
• Restocking shelves ready for the next day
• Receiving deliveries
• Carrying out additional tasks to support the business as required.

To conduct an accurate stock take of all areas when requested. This is usually once or twice a year or when requested by the Finance Department.Basic word processing and computer skills, with the ability to input data accurately. Evidence of a reasonable standard of literacy and numeracy.This role would suit someone with good admin experience.

Warehouse Operative with Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Licence required for a Gloucester based Distribution Company , GL10 3DP £11.76 p/h - Working Monday to Friday 7am til 4.30pm - ASAP start - Temporary which may lead to permanent for the right person

The role will involve the following;

- Picking orders for customers

- Shrink wrapping products

- Labelling and printing off delivery notes

- Operating a Reach & Counterbalance Forklift

- Moving stock around the warehouse

- Working as part of a team to make sure products are picked and packed to the best standard

- Loading and unloading lorries

- Any other duties as requested by your line manager

Reach and Counterbalance Forklift Licence would be preferred, but Reach only is essential for this position.
