Property Officer for Exeter

In this role you will be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships to source properties, and procure long term contracts, utilising your strong communication skills. You will manage an assigned caseload and travel accordingly to secure the properties. You will also carry out procurement administration and meet the set targets required in line with the relevant legislation.

Duties include

The Procurement & Contract Manager is primarily responsible for supporting (in conjunction with the Head of Procurement) the delivery of the procurement strategy including best practices, tools, guidance and support aligned to business and operational requirements. Primarily, you will be responsible for formal tendering and purchasing for Estates and Facilities Management including capital works projects and expanding our Preferred Supplier List. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will play a vital role in assisting the Store Manager with the day-to-day running of the store. You will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the store is well-organised, stocked, and running smoothly. As the Assistant Store Manager, you will also be responsible for authorising working hours, time off, breaks, and overtime for our team members. You will ensure that our team is well-rested and motivated to deliver the highest standards of customer service.

We are looking for someone who is a natural leader and enjoys connecting with both colleagues and customers. You will be a key link between our staff and management, and your communication skills will be vital in ensuring that everyone is on the same page and working towards the same goals.

One of the main responsibilities of the Assistant Store Manager is the ordering of stock. You will work closely with the Store Manager to monitor inventory levels, identify trends, and make sure that our store is always well-stocked with the products our customers love. Your attention to detail and ability to analyse sales data will be essential in keeping our store running smoothly.
