Hours of work
Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm (must be flexible and able to work 9am - 5pm when required)
Rate of Pay
£12.02ph
Duties:
• To ensure all workload targets are met daily as a minimum requirement in line with business expectations
• To keep line manager informed of dept performance with regular updates
• To ensure hygiene standards are always at the required level
• To work with management to improve efficiency across the department
• To be actioning KPI checks and standards checks on the staff in their department daily
• Identifying problems, finding solutions and escalating issues to senior management
• Ensuring best practice procedures and compliance is maintained
• Make adjustments as necessary during shift to achieve desired output levels in line with schedules within budget and specifications
• Be able to operate current and future systems and processes to a high level
• To carry out all other reasonable requests from the senior management team
• To take shared responsibility for self-development and to identify training and resources required to support ongoing performance improvement
• Ensure compliance with the relevant Health and Safety procedures in the warehouse area resulting in a clean and safe work area and assist the Warehouse with implementing procedures/policies in line with company requirements
• Reporting any H&S incidents or near misses they see around the site
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work environment in order to ensure that all basic standards are adhered to

Requirements:
• A minimum of 2 years management or supervisory experience within a Warehouse or Distribution centre is essential
• Physically fit and able to complete manual labour
• Good English language, reading, writing and speaking
• Knowledge of picking and general warehousing duties
• FLT licences – desired but not essential
