Position Overview
The Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth and opertional efficiency by identifying new business opportunities, managing relationships with suppliers and clients, and executing sales strategies.
This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The candidate will require to travel to India frequently to meet supplier teams ( 4 - 6 times per year) and identify new suppliers relevant for Singapore market.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Procuerment: Build a strong pipeline of products and suppliers who are equipped to supply high quality food products suited to Singaporean market.
Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new sales leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals.
Client Management: Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis: Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Reporting: Track sales performance metrics and report on progress towards targets.
Qualifications
Education: Minimum Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
Experience: At least 4-6 years of experience in sales and procurement; with strong connection with Indian manufacturer and suppliers.
Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Understanding of Zoho books is an added advantage.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
