Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions. Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations. May lead functional teams or projects.
This is an onsite position based in Austin, TX
Key responsibilities:
Serve as an interface with multiple sub-groups within a business unit or functional area such as Sales, Operations, Engineering, Service and Finance for the purpose of business technology alignment, solution discovery, project portfolio management, and relationship management.
Architect and design complex business process/business application solutions to address cross functional needs in Purchasing/ Supply Chain areas, and convert the solution design to functional and technical specifications. Oversee software application configuration, prepare and execute testing (unit, integration, performance, acceptance) and data conversions. Identifies and recommend industry BKM's for integrated solution design and standards.
Work with the technical teams (ABAP, Security, Basis) to translate the specifications to technical design documents and configuration documents. Co-ordinate with other stakeholders like Finance, Trade, Security for alignment on the solution and making sure all policies are adhered to.
Provides and/or oversees business application functional support services to meet customer performance, availability, service level agreements and customer satisfaction targets. Oversees different applications and IT systems that support the Supply Chain functions and helps with tuning of such systems for availability and performance. Helps production support teams in resolving complex production issues/ outages and completion of root cause analysis. Coordinates with infrastructure and technical teams, support providers and application vendors. Drives implementation of corrective and preventative actions. Evaluates/recommends/plans life cycle for patches, point releases, and major upgrades.
Responsible for execution of minor enhancements and medium to large projects and support services within the Supply Chain and related areas within allocated budget. Provide cost and time estimates and develops project budgets and schedules. Understands cost models and cost drivers for the services and recommend best option for each requirement including onsite/ offshore models. May be responsible for timely renewal of maintenance and subscription contracts for services or tools used by Business and IT in Supply Chain area.
Ensures adherence to GIS project management, software application development, testing, service management, change management, RCA and other relevant processes, standards, governance, and controls. May manage execution of sox controls and testing and support internal and external audits.
Plan and manage medium to large scale cross functional projects in SAP ERP and integrations with boundary systems to ensure effective and efficient execution in line with guardrails of scope, timeline, budget and quality.
Keep track and make sure the applications in scope are scanned periodically as per schedule and address any security vulnerabilities identified during the scans on priority. Consider application security as a critical factor during the solutioning and design for any enhancements and new implementations. Work with the ISRM and infrastructure teams for all aspects of application security and vulnerabilities
Oversees/manages contingent workers performing services across multiple projects or service areas. Responsible for the selection, on boarding and off boarding of contingent workers in a timely manner. Manages contingent worker project/task assignments and ensure work product quality. Approves contingent worker time sheets/costs.
Knowledge and skills in supply chain applications like SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, SAP SRM etc. is preferred but not necessary.
Exposure to S/4HANA architecture, features is helpful but not necessary.

A minimum of Bachelor of Science
7-10 years’ work experience
Extensive experience with SAP ECC functionality, particularly MM module
Good understanding of integration of ECC with other SAP modules, other applications and BI systems
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to new processes and tools quickly.
Good communication, documentation, and presentation skills

U.S. Salary Range:
$120,000.00 - $165,000.00
The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
