JOB OBJECTIVE
MCI offers an exciting career for the highly-motivated and results-driven sales professional. The Senior Manager, Conference Services is responsible for driving revenue for MCI through positioning the company’s suite of services and solutions to potential clients in the association, government or corporate sectors.
Success in the position requires the potential candiate to understand the objectives of our clients and match these needs with the value proposition of MCI’s portfolio of solutions.
The Work
Achieve revenue growth and account penetration within an assigned market segments by effectively presenting the value proposition of MCI’s portfolio of services and solutions.
Assess business opportunities and develop a strategy to engage key industry stakeholders within the assigned market segments.
Build significant new relationships potential clients in the association, government or corporate sectors, and maintain on-going relationships to create business opportunities.
Use company-wide tools, research team and experts to identify potential clients.
Orchestrate, research, write and present winning proposals to associations leaders organizing events
Familiar with meeting portals and written correspondence and face-to-face meetings as tools to engage prospects and identify their needs using consultative selling techniques.
Accurately forecast and report activities, feedback, and results to management.
Participate in relevant industry events for networking and lead generation
Work closely with business development teams from other MCI offices worldwide
THE RELATIONSHIPS
The Senior Manager reports to the Assistant Director of Business Development, and usually works as member of an event / project team.
You will also provide monthly report of sales activities to the Regional Director, Association Management & Consultancy

Have 8 years of sales experience (preferred).
The ability to strategically identify potential prospects, and have an energetic, target driven sales mindset.
Possess the capability to build relationships, and confidently pitch to, senior level executives of association, government, or corporate sectors.
An excellent sales track record, strong communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on account management.
Candidate must be able to work on multiple projects and with minimal supervision both independently and be self-driven within a team structure.
Candidate must have a pleasant demeanor and a positive attitude to function within a team based environment.
Conference sales experience/knowledge is a plus.
