WHAT IS THE ROLE
As the fastest growing fashion retailer in the UK with multichannel presence across the high street, internet and marketplaces, Social Media is a key to the visibility, growth and success of our 6 brands. With a small established Social Media team, we are now looking for a Head of Social, a strategic thinker with a hands on approach, with high level knowledge and experience of Social Media from a fashion perspective able to elevate the social presence of the brands, taking into consideration the target market. Lead, inspire and manage the existing team to grow individuals and the team to develop the function to its full potential. With a close working relationship across the business with the trading, marketing, buying, studio, creative and design teams you will coordinate activity and campaigns as well as formulating and delivering upon a Social Media strategy to fully harness the potential of all relevant existing and upcoming platforms. With an onsite studio and hands on access to the product as it is developed, this role is office based with the occasional requirement for travel.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
• Develop a social media strategy, setting and delivering against agreed goals to increase brand awareness and increase engagement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and platform changes to optimize content for all relevant social media channels.
• Lead team brainstorms and idea generation for shareable content, campaigns and brand initiatives, ensuring that the agreed content is in line with business ethos and supports and enhances company values.
• Manage and oversee the influencer strategy, process and across all platforms and territories.
• Build and maintain relevant influencer relationships to ensure partnerships are always current, relevant and performing and ensure that competitor relationships are monitored.
• Oversee and create relevant and timely content for the social media channels for all brands, ensuring all content is on brand and with the relevant tone of voice.
• Oversee and lead a team of social media and comms co-ordinators to ensure all social media channels such as Face Book, Meta, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, YouTube & TikTok are utilised with relevant and timely content.
• Utilize analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on content performance.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize content strategy and improve engagement
• Oversee the creation of engaging multimedia content such as videos and gifs, outsourcing effectively where required.
• Ensure business wide content is distributed timely through organic social media (Blog, new product launches, store openings etc)
• Oversee the quality of posts and pages to ensure that they are functioning and tagging correctly (UTM, Facebook shop, Instagram shop), making sure product is current and ensures the brand tone and messaging is clear throughout territories.
• Train team members on brand and how to use social media tools and platforms where required.

• Substantial experience working in a social media management role

• Expert knowledge of social media platforms front and back end and how best to use them
