We are actively seeking support staff who have experience working with young people with communication support needs. We are seeking to recruit staff who are experienced and confident with Makaton. You may also have experience in using basic BSL.

We want to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic teaching assistants to join our large and supportive Teaching Assistant team. As a member of our Teaching Assistant (TA) team, you will work closely with other TAs and teachers to support the education offer for young people with a range of SEND. We are particularly interested in someone who has experience of working with young adults with more complex needs, management of behaviour and 1-1 behaviour support.
You will be confident about working with young people with a range of SEND needs and have a sound knowledge of best practice in the area. You will be passionate and creative. You will work well in a team and have excellent communication skills. You will be enjoy working in a varied and dynamic environment based in college and supporting young people to access their community and work experience opportunities.
