Talocher School are recruiting for a Housekeeper / cleaner to join our team. We are looking for passionate people to make sure our site is safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the school site. This position is a full-time, however for the right candidate we can be flexible with the number of weekly hours and shift times. Talocher School is a school for young people aged 9 -19 with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). Main duties: Delivers and maintains a clean and tidy environment throughout the school, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations. Ensures that Aspris minimum standards are delivered in all areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team. Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations. Adopt new services that are already introduced within the group Use equipment efficiently, in order to gain a greater value for money

In your new role as a Cleaning Operative you will ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order and meeting all agreed SLAs. Build your knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, when the work needs to be carried out and all cleaning equipment and chemicals used on the premises while following Health and Safety requirements. You will need to undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role. You will be required to work within a team and can work under their own initiative. You will need to build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivery excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
