Permanent, part time (16 hpw), hours can be worked over 2, 3 or 4 days and flexible which days you work. However, must be the same every week.

Want to help create a clean, tidy home for vulnerable people? We house customers with a variety of support needs – anything from mental health to alcohol or drug use, acquired brain injury to hoarding. You’ll be at the heart of ensuring they have a homely place to live. Our customers in Liskeard, live in a large Victorian 6 bed property with shared facilities and an onsite-office. The Bodmin service is a large property which has 9 self-contained flats, with large communal areas, 2 onsite offices and a meeting room.
Typical day as a cleaner
- You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
- Your duties will involve general cleaning duties and maintaining the hygiene of our properties, communal areas and offices and ensure that tasks are carried out efficiently, economically and to a high standard.

You bring
- Some experience of general cleaning duties.
- Your friendliness and respect for our vulnerable customers coupled with your professional boundaries.
- Your ability to work on your initiative while also working as part of a team to ensure a clean property.
- To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
Our team
You’ll be working alongside our fabulous team, who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements.
To us we’re not just a team we’re a ‘work family.’ There are 2 teams which you will work alongside. The support team and the housing management team. You will be managed by Michelle Nicholls who has been with us for just over a decade – she has moved around through a few of our support and housing roles in various services before becoming a manager, so knows a thing or two about supported housing. There are ten of us in the housing management team and we don’t just love to support our customers, we’re there for each other too! The support team who you will also work alongside have six members. Within the support team is the former cleaner for this role, she has moved into a support worker role.
Job details
- We are flexible with the rota and the hours which you work. The hours can be worked over 2, 3, or 4 days and the times can be flexible to meet you. We can discuss this further at the interview.
- You’ll need a Standard DBS check done and we pay for that.
