More detail about the role The ward housekeeper will work as part of the clinical team and be responsible for the co-ordination of patient facilities services in the ward area, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment. They will ensure that there is a seamless approach to the provision of non clinical services ensuring the appropriate delivery of catering, cleaning and minor maintenance together with other specific tasks to meet individual patient needs. The ward housekeeper will work closely with other facilities departments and support services and will monitor quality standards, report deficiencies and take appropriate action. The team the Haematology team care for patients undergoing treatment for haematological conditions. It is imperative that patients are cared for in a clean and safe environment whilst their immune systems are compromised. The ward has 10 side rooms as well as 3 bed bay and a family room. The team work closely to ensure positive, high standards of care for patients receiving treatment. What skills and experience we're looking for

• Experience of producing agendas and accurate, concise minutes, meeting statutory requirements

What the school offers its staff

We are a partnership of 15 primary and secondary schools, employing over 1,000 staff, delivering education to 7,000 children and young people aged 2-18 to schools in Bradford, Harrogate and Skipton.

We are looking for ambitious governance professional looking to develop their career at a senior level within a growing trust.

As part of the Corporate Affairs Team, the Senior Governance Professional will provide support to schools’ local governing bodies (LGBs) and also Trustees on the main board. As well as supporting LGBs personally, the postholder will co-ordinate the work of a small number of governance clerks. The postholder will also work closely with the Director of Corporate Affairs to support the main Trust Board and its committees.

The Trust is currently undertaking a governance review to streamline processes to ensure that they remain appropriate for a growing Trust. The postholder will contribute to the design and implementation of that review.
